Most of the shots in both openings are shorter, since they both feature the same amount of characters. Version 17 had uneven character counts which allowed for longer shots.

Both Fish and Ross are recurring, so they are not in either opening. Ross was played by Shawn Christian in 2002 during the deserted island storyline. I like Rex's shot on the one with Gigi/Shane, etc., but not the one with Bo. Todd and Nat do need new shots. I have always liked Jessica's shot.

I figure Mitch might be a short-term contract and they won't add him, so I definitely think they'll be removing Natalie's A shot and I see Starr going in the B opening before Todd or John

I think John and Natalie being in the second opening is slightly redundant, especially because I think the Jessica-Natalie-John lineup was better. This is refreshing, though. The only thing that bothered me about the redundancy was that Rex and Natalie were connected in both versions. I think the Bo/Rex connections is necessary, though.

Oh, and why didn't they bust out that discarded shot of John to star version b at least? This one looks awkward as an opening shot, even with the cool flash/color change.

I miss Antonio too. But I think that probably next month(March) a new opening will be put up. With Dani,Oliver,Ford,Eli,Kim and possibly Kelly since she's been signed as a main character for the upcoming months which is awesome!! xD Kevin might be signed as a recurring character like David. I also heard about these Hannah,Leah,James and Alison people coming to the show as new characters. Except Alison who's been on before. I just wished Adriana and Cassie would've stayed on longer :(

v18's is definitely my favourite so far. Loving the Kyle/Layla/Cristian sequence - just get Oliver in there with them and it'd be perfect! Their storyline is definitely the most interesting for me right now. I hope Oliver/Roxy get bumped up to contract so they can be in the intro. And Marty's smile is so adorable. :)

because on here, viki has been on the longest....AMC, erica is one of two original cast members besides joe but he is RARELY on...like maybe once or twice a month...so technically erica is the only original character left so she'll always be first and last. as for GH, well monica is longest cast member but as for luke.....well.....some things in life just define explination...like his hair from the 80s eeesh! :D

Ok, so by the end of the month, they'll have to add Kim, Dani, Mitch, and Ford and remove Jared. If they wait a few months, they'll have to add Kelly (and possibly Kevin) and remove Stacy. No matter when they update, the additions far outweigh the removals. And they've never had more than 18 characters in an opening. Might we see the end of double shots soon?

I actually agree, but I read online that the opening will be renewed again sometime in either January or February 2010. Mitch,Dani & Kelly will for sure be in it. But I'm not sure about Kim and Ford. I really like Ford tho, great match for Langston, even tho she has Markko. They will be removing Jared and Stacy soon. Since Stacy leaves OLTL officially in February 2010. Also Elijah might be added as well. Because I can tell he will be Tea's new love interest. It's obvious.Even tho he's recurring.

General Hospital's graphics and lighting is too scattered to be able to add/change cast spots. If they weren't spazzing out all over the place, and make it a bit more lowkey like OLTL or even AMC maybe we'd get an update. I expect them to update soon with HD shot cast.

ALL of the characters have a tie to her. the families have had a man who has been married to her...thats what the shows description is described as....a ficticious city in penn. about erica kane and her ex husbands families. if what you 'claim' is true, then AMC is fucked in the head. look how they treated brooke. and susan lucci who plays erica already took a huge pay cut last year.
