Oh, nice! They finally added Light and Darkness as elements! It always bothered me that we had Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ice and Lightning but not them. The usual 8. Drain and Restorative weren't elements but they're still in the game as skills I see which is nice.

My top 10 favorite yo kai 1. Whisper - He's funny, he's sweet, and I feel like he's mistreated a lot. I want to hug him. 2. Jibanyan - he's kind of my spirit animal. Literally and metaphorically. I'm lazy, I like chocolate, and I don't win often. 3. Noko - probably the cutest snake ever. I want to share a snack with it. 4. Komasan - He's so cute and naive! My mom likes him even though she's not into Yo Kai watch. 5. Junior - he looks like Jibanyan and Whisper combined. He's sweet and childish. 6. Usapyon - he's so funny. He looks like something off a show called Octonauts that I saw once. 7. Kyuubi - Nine tailed foxes are probably the most beautiful creature in Japan. 8. Blazion - he's Taz from Looney tunes crossed with a fire cat. 9. Baku - she's cute and creepy at the same time. 10. Manjimutt - he's a nice guy who's judged because he's weird looking. I feel sorry for him.

Well the main problem with SnS is that they're reusing assets from the 3ds for the animations (which at the very least is true for Let's Go when it was datamined); so that's around an average of 6 animations for each Pokemon, and merely upscaling the models, while as for any sound design goes I've heard that they're still using the Gameboy in that area for some Pokemon. Then this is followed up by the fact that Game Freak have the most profitable games on the planet and it all makes for a rather dismal situation. Then there's YW4 which doesn't have the liberty of reusing assets as much since they've completely overhauled the graphics and battle system. Basically YW4 is the Switch equivalent of what the 1st YKW game was on the 3ds, aka its a fresh start for the franchise. And a lot more now goes into making a single Yo Kai than it did on the 3ds since there's now more going on with the battle mechanics and it also seems as if the average amount of animations has increased too from 16; I know there's been a bit more detail added into head movement, gestures and expression than what it was on the 3ds. The Yo Kai even share a similar amount of voice-acting that YW3 had, if not more so. Second, 110+ isn't the permanent number, 27-29 more Yo Kai have already been confirmed to be coming in the August update and much more will arrive as the months go on until Level 5 reach their apparent aspired number of 810. (Which excludes the Shadow/Godside, Hyper Mode and Deva forms). So, the situation going on with YW4 isn't really at all similar to SnS because unlike with SnS, one is actually refreshing itself instead of completely recycling old assets. E.g how an animation of Hop's is completely identical to Hau's, but the graphics still look like Sun and Moon enhanced by an emulator, while new characters in YW4 have their own assortment of animations like Touma or Natsume or Akinori, etc. while the graphics look like a huge evolution from the 3ds. (There's also the fact that YW4 will updated with missing Yo Kai, while SnS won't be with missing Pokemon). So, yeah it's not very similar at all.

Doesn't really matter. To me the main Yokai Watch series ended with 3. Never going to play 4 since it's for the Switch. To me it's not a good system with so many downsides. No camera, bad internet (you never had to pay Nintendo directly to go online in the past), I like clamshell designed systems more, no KZbin, and you save everything to the 3D card (saving to the cartridge is better). Never getting 4.
