Alhamdulilah, surely that's how Rasullulah (SAW) dealt with those who didn't agree with him etc. Regarding Br Modeen himself, you can tell he's grown up in this 'roadman' life, around the wrong crowd, may Allah (SWT) keep him pointed on the straight path and come to terms with his own behaviour and potential.
