Bloody hell! The improv on this is amazing! If it is improv and not carefully planned. Either way it's great playing. It would be interesting to see what they could do with a vibraphone - electrified! Milt Jackson aint the only game in town!

As far as I know this kind of music is "semi improvisation" That's the way I learned it in Guinea Conakry. Quite the same songs and same diatonic balafon (alternatives tunings sometimes ).
