the way this scene was portrayed both visually and musically was damn perfect. petscop watchers that know what's about to come, or even anyone who read the name of the song, feel a droning dread and suspense .. at least, i know i did. the vocals have the feel of pretentious harmony, or the sanguine sound of someone trying to keep it together despite evident distress. the song feels like it gets "corrupted" as it progresses, and with every static flicker, you feel like "this is it, it's about to happen, isn't it?" and then it doesnt; so you wait for the next one to pop up onscreen. and when the deed is finally done, the song's tone takes a jarring turn. i love this song, and this mod, so damn much. tl;dr common vruzzen W

The story and feelings being portrayed throughout this song is absolutely perfect 0:00 It begins and it sounds a bit down already, showing the situation is not the best. Plus, the way Paul and Care match the way they sing together adds, as someone else in the comments said, an understanding 0:42 The second part feels hopeful and such a better situation, the instruments and sounds used make it sound hopeful, only for it to return to how it began 1:19 This part reminds me of the loves me, loves me not flower from the early episodes, with the slow picking of petals. With Care being silent it only adds to it, only added by the lack of music, with the only notable thing being paul 1:33 Someone else put this part perfectly, saying that care sounds like they're having an anxiety attack, as the music also spirals out of control 1:55 Then this part hits, If you know the story of petscop or the read the title of the song, you know what's coming. The amount of dread in this part is only rivaled by the ending. With only Paul singing as the music builds, only for it to quiet down with care 2:35 The quiet before the storm, he's close. Paul and Care sing one last quiet bit 2:49 He's here 3:02 The music going completely electrical and out of control as both Marvin and Care sing similar parts as the rest of the song. Except unlike Paul, they don't work together, Marvin sounds a lot more empowering than Paul did 3:32 Care sings the loudest they have in the full song, absolutely scared of the man behind them. 4:08 At last it ends with care making one last sound, before being caught by Marvin I know this is a long comment, but the fact this is told in song alone is absolutely incredible Easily the best song in all of fnf Well done Vruzzen

This is a song with a timer fakeout that genuinely got me. I thought the Marvin thing was going to be a cutscene, despite being a massive Petscop fan. I was kinda disappointed thinking the big event would be a cutscene, but holy god I was jawdropped for a solid 5 minutes after the song kept going. Amazing job.

@@jezabelc796 Fight or Flight isn't so much dread as it is fear, which is exactly what it was going for as evidenced by the fear mechanic. In fight or flight you know exactly what is wrong- how could you not with how starved looks- while in Abduction, you're pretty sure something's wrong, but the characters don't. That's the major difference between this and Fight or Flight, I think. (Also sorry for the bit of the long-winded response, i'm just really passionate about this song 😅)

i love how the beginning shows a sort of melancholic and strange yet whole understanding between care and paul - they're matching each others' notes and singing along to a calm but gradually distorting instrumental. then, when marvin shows up, suddenly when they match notes it seems like a fight that care was fated to lose. same core concept, drastically different execution. i love this mod so much, so much love and amazing music was put into it all around and i hope you all will get a lot of appreciation for it. happy late birthday, care and paul.

I kinda just held off playing this mod since I held off from watching anything petscop related until pyro came out with his petscop 2 video (which wont happen i realize) but when i saw that this mod had a gold crown I decided why not. And I am so FUCKING glad I did play it, this song is my favorite and I cannot stop playing it. I like how it tries so hard to sound like a lullaby, even with all the intensity of the instrumental. It is such a good fucking song, genuinely gives me goosebumps. I just love it all, the somber but sort of reassuring tone of the song is so fucking good

You could watch literally any other analysis video to catch up with the story at this point, excluding Pyro's and Matpat's since they're outdated as hell at this point and they reference the allusions to real life the creator of Petscop wants to distance himself from out of respect for the victim and general shame. If you still want to check out the lore I recommend watching "A Lookback at Petscop" by groovy, since it basically covers everything that happens in the story from beginning to end in cronological order.

I instantly fell in love with this song as soon as I finished it. The amazing tense ambient it builds throughout the start, the unnerving melodies at the middle, and the thrillingly intense end, all combine into this masterpiece of a song. Especially when you know the context to it, when I first played this mod it had been a long time since I saw anything about Petscop so I didn't remember anything at all, but that didn't stop me from getting chills out of this music, and after knowing the context, it fits even more. Might not be the most banger track of the mod (either needles or impatience take that trophy), but man! Is it executed amazingly, and again, the end is just so epic and godly. Yet another Vruzzen W

1:33 reads like an anxiety attack, I love it so much. The quiet pondering beforehand, the way the instrumental slows to a near silent halt, the calm before the storm, and Care explodes in what feels like fear out of absolutely nowhere. Words just tumble out of her mouth at a rapid pace like she doesn't even know what she's saying and she can't control herself. Soon it's all over and she's silent for almost a minute afterwards, lost in thought like it never happened. People say songs tell a story and this bit is my favorite chapter.

i usually dont comment on stuff but i have to say on how much i love this song! the first time i played it i felt what others have stated being dread. i was waiting for martin to appear and take care at any moment but i couldnt just get past the dread of knowing that will eventually happen. knowing petscop well enough made me hate the static appearing as i keep on expecting martin to appear or to see him. the atmosphere in this song is truly amazing and fits so well with the event of martin taking care. but god when i thought the song was over and seeing the ac fall, i knew that the song was not only over but singing against martin. the music getting so intense when martin appears is so perfect. while i was expecting we will swap to playing as martin but playing as care not being to help her, knowing her fate made me love this song so much more. and the song in general is great and addicting. in total a solid 10/10 for context and just being a song.

Welp...even too i not so much into Petscop not because of it is bad ,definitely not, but it's because i didnt understand all the lore behind it. But still what i did understand and this song incapsulate perfectly which is all the tragedy that this game represents. This song is so beautiful and yet so ominus, this melody so calming with the instrumentals getting more and more intense is so so Unbelivible until. And too, this really brings me memories of many others songs that i think has a familiar tone that i could'nt apresiate as now. But i know hear this as i rememeber this things and crying for now understanding the pain that all lifes have. (yeah i did get a bit emotinal, sorry...)
