This man is one of the few great ones that I feel safe in clicking on a "like" to, and subscribing to the presenting chanel. before I've even heard it.

A private concert for those to enjoy. The piano plays in your home as you open something to drink. Lights off in the room with full light within. Thank you for your performance.

Abdullah plays live. I saw her with a friend who wasn't sure if he was the drummer, in a trio setting. Hi Cristina!

He reminds me of my grandfather. Thank you for this beautiful storytelling.

He's the Bach, the Beethoven,... and often the Mozart of South African music.

His piano performance makes us comfortable, calm and happy.

Try spinning 'African Herbs', 'Song for Sathima' or 'Soweto is Where it's At'. Resolve in the face of cruel oppression/gone but not forgotten...'South Africa' is still 'On the March' - madness right, but as you say, leave it to AI to calm the waters...

... and another part is probably from "wade in the water": Wade in the water Wade in the water, children Wade in the water God's gonna trouble the water

@@MrElpmo And before Wade in the water it is the Afro- American spiritual "Deep river, my home is over Jordan"

@MrElpmo Mukashi is indeed a very beautiful album. Something about it reminds me a bit of 'African Space Program' on a label called Enja. He is, in his own way, as searching and as prolific as Coltrane or his 'impressario'? Duke Ellington - Praise be to Abdullah in all his names and incarnations.
