I was a Shia Muslim who'd started doubting the Shia faith for a couple years till when I converted secretly to the Sunni faith during the Feb of '18. For a year I was a devout religious Sunni but around the Feb of '19, I chanced upon the Apostate Prophet and since I was open minded enough to listen to opposing views, he turned my world on its head and I became very disillusioned very fast with the things he said which were super logical even to a devout person like me. But then I never gave a crap on what I was born on, you can see my username which I made back in 2008 when I was a hardcore Shia teen lol. My advice would be to not push him too much, maybe just make him listen to a few videos here and there which you think could plant doubts in his head without offending him too much, like Apostate Prophet, Abdullah Sameer, Harris Sultan etc or whoever else. Are you Egyptian btw lol? Just a random guess. There this Egyptian ex-Muslim who very compassionately makes amazing videos in the Masry dialect. Best of luck sister. We're all in this together.

Islam is a collection copy of different religions and cultures. It copies Jewish, Christian and pagan. Since Mohamed is a merchant he got different religion members. He wrote all he heard of miracles, myths, stories and gossips. Mohamed didn’t have a bible and any other books but he copied what he heard orally and accustomed it as his feelings. The reason is why the Quran is a wrong copy of other books and cultures. Mohamed wants to fill the gap of written scripts for his newly developed religion what he called Islam. For instance the kaba is adopted from pagans, most of the Quran stories were derived from the bible. To have an acceptance Mohamed said Quran is Goods word. Allah was crate by Muhammad’s illusion. Quran even did not full fill a script standard it is a simple collection of words and phrases. The story of Quran is not harmonies and collide each other. Islam was spread to the world by horrific war. The Muslim warriors were very cruel and forced the people to accept Muslim by force not by teaching them. Till know Muslim countries are very suppressive and did not allow other religion to preach freely. Totally Muslimism spread in the world by force not by love and teaching.

I have appreciated both of your works, your approaches are different, but they work well together. Abdullah is very soft and comforting while questioning and AP is still relatively soft but more pointing out the issues directly and their absurdity whereas Abdullah let's people reach that conclusion on their own. Having both of you allows people to be comfortable but also receive that nudge in the right direction. I was a Christian and was searching for truth regardless of where it led me. I watched content from all sides of all beliefs. I watched Zakir Naik, Nouman Ali kahn, David Wood, William Lane Craig, Richard Dawkins, Laurence Krauss, Hitchens, Christian Prince, cosmic skeptic, rationality rules, the atheist experience, John Lennox and many, many others. I was obsessed with finding out the truth. I found Christian Prince and Zakir Naik equally as unbearable, repulsive and illogical, but their approaches seem to work for a particular audience. So in that regard, I was glad to listen to them both for the understanding in psychology of how some people rationalise (or don't rationalise) their beliefs. Having all the different perspectives showed me that the arguments for all religions are pretty much exactly the same, they can all be refuted pretty easily once you properly explore them. Despite never having been a Muslim, thank you for helping me on my journey of deconversion. You're both awesome!
