After split testing certain strategies I’ve concluded to only use A set ups risking 2% or $2k on a $100k account. With a 2.5 risk to reward ratio.

I usually once I'm up i find myself closing it tooo early and missing out on the move due to the fear of losing the trade. In my trade plan, my A+ setups are my wave patterns that are fundamentally backed. But they must also be forming at an extreme price zone where there are less alternates. They work with high accuracy but I've not been tweaking the risk management like you've suggested. That will be the next goal. Now, I see so many C grade setups that have caused unnecessary drawdowns because I couldn't stay patient to wait for the best ones. Thanks for sharing.

He also likes to increase risk when he's winning and reduce them when there's drawdown. It seems a bit similar to asymmetric compounding.

Hi Liman, (1) - I do something similar to (AC) when i'm winning and losing. As I win, I increase my risk for A setups and as I'm losing or in drawdown for the month I decrease my risk. See my risk table in my other video, "How to Pass the $100K challenge". (2) The total risk for the trade idea will be split across the positions. For example, 3 positions, $900 total risk for the trade idea. Each position will get $300 risk.

The idea here is to develop at-least one setup that is rare, but the odds are extremely stacked in your favor. While you may normally trade your A setups, that may occur more often, this setup, may occur more rarely but when it does you risk more on it. The reason to identify what the “C” setups are is so that you can remove them altogether.

To be honest, I risk the same percentage on all my trades (depending on the account I’m trading) and I do just fine. What I do change is my risk to reward ratio, depending on price structure. In fact yesterday I closed a great trade that was a 8x winner……had some great trends in the market this week.

As a funded trader for a futures "prop" firm, if the setup looks very good and passes alot of my requirements for a good setup I usually make the first trade the riskiest, then the next trade about half or less risk than the first, and thats usually a good day if I can just get two trades in. Also, you can have a 60% win rate and still lose money if you don't have your stop losses set up properly. What platform do you use that allows you to add those magic keys? I trade forex but never heard of magic keys.

Damn, bro... I love Math and consider myself pretty good at Math, but the way you relay it into trading, is just genius. I'm only paper trading now as a beginner and am winning and losing trades and profit, but you make me feel like I can accomplish 100% of my trades.
