From 1990 - 1992 stay in KSA. But because my father was in army we stayed in Riyadh. however we regularly used to come to Haram and madina with our father. Still miss those time. My Favorite thing after prayers was those cold drink machines that sometimes didnt work ;)

I did umrah with my husband and son with grace of Almighty Allah just before corona in Feb 2020 and my heart pleads to do many many umrah and atleast once Haj in our lifetime. It was very nostalgic to see this video. Childhood memories are indeed a treasure and even better if it’s in the Holy city of Makkah or Madinah. You are a very lucky person to be blessed like this. MashAllah. May Allah give barakah in the blessings he showers upon you. Question: Do you feel that the construction is making things more commercialized and the access to the sacred Kaba sharif has become difficult? My mother had to use a wheelchair and therefore was unable to come near the Kaba as per the rules and so was heartbroken that why did they do this to the old people. Do you think that they should keep a special time for the people in the wheelchairs to be able to do tawaf near the Kaba so that they can also pray in hateem and be able to touch Kaba inshAllah.
