I just got my box yesterday and I am in love!! I got a Hello Kitty Fan set instead of the Little Twin Stars one. Loveeeeee the pencil, so adorable. I think the smell might come from the pigment, which is made of squid ink in old style pens like this. IDK is thats the case in that one, but when I used to draw we often used Nankin ink, which is made of squid ink, same ink used for japanese and chinese caligraphy and it has the smell that u describe. haha

@@gryla5290 not good not bad, its like...salty water smell, ocean like. I grew to like cause I really enjoy drawing, so it reminds me of those moments.

I love this box Celina though to be honest I always enjoy them. They are just fun boxes of different stationery bits. I really love the brush pen and think my current one nearly dry. I have smelt it and mine does smell of sandal wood rather lovely fragrance. The sumo stickers not really my thing and I don't use page markers as quick as I recieve them. However they are still rather cute. Now to use it all and have fun. Thank you for sharing. :)
