this was really beautiful. You have done so many unique things with personal touches, like the kitchen painted wall and the pictures above the fireplace to name a few. I am very much a minimalist when it comes to decorating and I barely have any prints on the walls, but I have to say your place with the way you have displayed your art has me really impressed. I so enjoyed all your colour choices and every room is so perfect. I personally love the hallway book shelves and I like it when the shelves aren't too stuffed with books so I think yours is just perfect!! Thank you for showing me around. :)

May I ask where you got your beautiful curtains. They look like lace curtains and I love how long they are. I also live in an old house with very high ceilings. My windows are huge and I have problems finding curtains that fit from the top down to the floor. I love that you didn't cover the wood trim around the windows., I use tension rods so that the wood trim is not hidden behind curtains. What would be the use of having such beautiful wood trim if they are covered up all the time.

For the awkward space, the stairs that lead to nowhere can be utilised as a “Baithak” meaning you could place a mattress there with lanterns and plants on the sides with big cushions. It can be an excellent relaxing space..
