Cammy is an amazing person who I am so grateful I could help. She has been through a lot, especially in the last few years, but one of her first big life-changing events happened after a major car accident when she was 26, which she and her sister miraculously survived, but it also was when her heart arrhythmia was caught on a monitor and she ended up having a pacemaker placed. Then in 2017, her husband was diagnosed with narcolepsy which has been progressive, Cammy went back to school not knowing if her husband would still be able to work, but then a year and a half ago got really sick and lost 80 pounds in about a year before her OB-GYN finally sent her to a specialist. After a lot of testing, it was found that she has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which means that her pancreas stopped making digestive enzymes and, therefore, she was not getting any nutrition from her food, became critically low in vitamins A, D, E, and K, which can have some serious effects on physical and mental health and can even cause symptoms that mimic bipolar disorder. She has constant nausea and finds it hard to eat anything. Her weight loss is now up to 104 pounds in just a year and a half!
Incidentally, Cammy and I went to the same high school and junior high. She was one year ahead of me and we weren't friends, but I do remember who she was. We were actually reconnected through Mack from Midwest Magic Clinically who mentioned that he knows someone from Utah who does free cleanings, Cammy got my information, we connected the dots, and here we are!

Bonnie, recently I found my daughter home in this condition. As I was cleaning her home I used so many things I learned from you and Mach doing it. Thank you for sharing this with me and thank you for all that you do for others! Also,,, I have preached the Dawn power wash spray tricks with my girls! While I was doing the totes of my daughters dishes I keep them covered in Dawn power wash so they were easier to wash💞

I know so many people have these stories. I was sure something was wrong with me for some time. My doctor told me I was making my self sick thinking about it. It was too long until I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I saw him at the hospital I worked at. I’m sure you heard what’s going on with me I said. He hugged me and wished me well. I suffer from horrible migraines, and I get it from my own family, Kathy. I'm just lazy. That's why I can't get up and do the dishes, or the laundry. Or name any household chore that needs to be done. I actually live with my mother, and today, she just refused to drive me to the pharmacy for some much needed medication. I can't drive myself as I can't see properly coz of the migraine I have. When she said no, I actually went out to my car in sheer frustration to go get my medication, and the battery is flat. So my beautiful friend is coming tomorrow to take me.

One of the things my neurologist ordered for me was a migraine tens unit that is called CEFALY. It’s around $500 and a set of 3 electrodes are $25 but ALL insurance should cover 100% of the costs. It’s a lifesaver and I will never travel more than a few hours away from home without it in my EDC bag. Hope that helps you. Thank you. As much as the emotional support can be a little draining as an empath, I also know it's a huge part of helping them because they have had almost no one to talk to about this stuff for years since there is so much shame around having someone know about your situation when it becomes like this, so they do really need a lot of that emotional support. As long as there is gratitude, I have found I can continue to give that kind of support. There was one particular homeowner.... I don't think it would be hard for anyone to figure out which one it was😉.... who really showed very little gratitude and needed a lot of emotional support and that was something I just couldn't do any longer. Cammy is a lot easier to support in that way because she is also very gracious.

I have Fibromyalgia and run into physicians and other people in my life who simply don’t believe fibromyalgia exists. I’m here to tell you it does. But instead of losing 104lbs that’s how much I’ve gained. All my life I weighed 122-126 lbs. Even after being pregnant 3 times. I carried mail for 22 years on a hill, with a satchel on my back, for 6 1/2 hours a day. Then worked another 10 inside at the window standing the whole time. I lifted huge boxes, heavy trays of mail loading and unloading my truck every day. Pushing around big heavy equipment. I was strong and I was basically doing a man’s job. Until I was in pain, all the time. Everything hurt. Even all the joints in my fingers and hands simply from holding the steering wheel in my car. Then I started feeling sick all the time, like I was coming down with the flu, non-stop. I developed insomnia, and then I started forgetting words. I seriously started to think I was dying. And it was just a matter of time until whatever I had became so obvious that my doctor would finally discover it. That’s when the anxiety and depression really kicked in. This all started after my mom died. She was diagnosed with lung cancer 2/7/14 and died 2/12/14. Then I got to be executrix of their estate in Kentucky while living in California. With a stepfamily that was never close. I guess Fibromyalgia can be triggered by trauma. Either by physical, like a car accident, or emotional, like the loss of a parent. Always be your own best advocate! We all have intuition about our bodies and know when we aren’t well. Don’t let the medical community gaslight you into believing that what you’re feeling is normal. It probably isnt. Don’t let them weight shame you. This is OUR life, and we have to do our best to protect and make sure we get the care we need and that we pay for! Medical insurance is expensive! We aren’t paying these huge monthly premiums to be told we eat too many Doritos when we know that’s not the case! Take care everyone!

I keep wanting to bring this up in a video, but I'm also not prepared for the barrage of questions I might get asked. However, I will tell people occasionally in the comments who suffer with fibromyalgia or other chronic pain about how I manage mine. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 5 years ago and I have had chronic pain since I was a teenager. I just learned to live with it until it gradually got worse and then I had shoulder surgery, a back fusion, and a disc replacement in my neck all within about 4 years, which helped the intense local pain at those sites, but intensified the other pain throughout my body. My pain specialist recommended something to me that has been a life changer and is the only reason I am able to still continue to move and do these types of free cleanings. It's called Low Dose Naltrexone. I am not even going to go into the details of how or why it works, but if you are interested in learning more about it, go to the LDN research Trust website. It has seriously been amazing for my pain. When I went to Illinois, I forgot to have it refill before I left and I did fine for a few days, but I was hurting quite a bit by the time I got back, so I know it works.

@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp I’m sure you know since you have this too, that you’re willing to try anything to get your life back…or some semblance of it. I was diagnosed in 2015. I take a bunch of stuff. Even opioids. And I know exactly when they wear off. I’m like a wind-up doll in that respect. I can only go as long as the medication lasts. As soon as it starts wearing off I have to lay down I hurt so bad. And take more. I’ll look it up. Sending gentle hugs your way!!

my youngest son (39) is a licensed master plumber and has said he would never install a garbage disposal. first, nothing but liquid should go down a drain and disposals do not chop up enough at all. so, unless you like paying $200 or more per hour to a plumber to unclog your pipes, best not use disposals. non-liquid waste should be caught by strainers in your sink, so they don't accidentally go down the drain and should be dumped in the trash. also, what you're allowed to put in disposal is very limited, but people don't stop with those items and tend to use for everything! they never fully empty and can cause smells, due to germ build up too. also, if the stoppage is in your sewer drain, in yard, it could cost $10,000 - $30,000 or more to have excavation and repairs done on that! not worth it to me. my son does tell people that insist on having them, that they should be prepared to pay more plumbing repair bills. other places may not allow them for that reason. not only bad for individual home plumbing, but sewer issues, as well. esp in apt bldgs! lol also, Bonnie, i noticed you like to wash your dishes before putting in dishwasher. i saw something on this, stating not good idea. just clean off large particles (chunks) of food. the new dishwasher detergents have surfactants in them to take care of food on dishes and if dishes are cleaned first, the surfactants have nothing to "eat" and will just build up in the machine, which is a problem. sorry for the lectures! lol

How did you get started on free cleaning? I have some autoimmune diseases and other medical issues so I can completely understand how things can get away from you fast. My diseases aren’t that bad (thank God) and I’d love to know more in hopes of being able to help others in my city.

No one knows better how these situations come to be than someone who has suffered much themselves. That's so kind of you to want to help others as well.❤️❤️❤️ I got started by posting in my community Facebook page that I was looking for houses to clean for free for people who were having some struggles with their mental health or just going through a trial and needed a little help with something in their home. Of course you can be as detailed as you want about the type of tell me an hour organizing you want to do. Just make sure you are being safe about it. That's what I always worry about is somebody walking into a dangerous situation. I think most cases you can probably fill out if they are trying to lure you into any kind of dangerous situation, but that's what I like about Facebook is that you can sort of vet them on there so that you can see if they really are who they say they are and I almost always have at least one or two friends in common, so that helps as well. Other people have mentioned maybe checking to see if there is a government program who helps aging people and letting them know that you would love to help someone out with some free cleaning and see if they have any tips for you or ways to find some older folks who might need a bit of help.

Both myself and my roommate are on the disability list. Can't work. The apartment fell to ruin. And I got SICK SICK SICK. I spent TWO yrs in a hospital. Pain? Oh honey, I invented the 0 to 20 pain scale. Previously they used the 0 to 10 scale. There just isn't enough pain killer in the world. Heaven sent us an angel, Nordia. We do pay for her services, but she is a Godsend. She hauls out the trash, does our laundry, makes the beds, washes the floor , works on the kitchen. Everything we can't do. She saves us every week.

Hi, Bethany! I love to hear this! As I mentioned in this video, I really love to support any channels who are also doing free cleaning, so I would be more than happy to help you in any way I can. You are welcome to email me at btashdown@gmail.com with any questions you have. If you already have some filming and editing experience, that's half the battle. That is definitely the harder part for me. I'm starting to figure out how to do it a little quicker, but it is, by far, the thing that takes the longest between the cleaning, editing, and managing my channel. But, yeah, shoot me an email. I'd be happy to help.❤️

Yes, I thought the same thing. There is definitely plenty of room to spread things out and bring in a little at a time to organize. She does have way too much stuff to reasonably fit into her cabinets and she knows that, so the third day we were there, she was going through stuff and letting go of a lot of it. That's sort of her homework assignment for the next week before we go back up again so that we can actually fit everything back into the cabinets.

Ever since a traumatic brain injury from a car wreck. Watching someone do something while they are talking, talking, talking- leads me to only focus on the physical movement or the background talking. And I just realized that this morning. That’s exactly what I was thinking right now for this medical season of life! No shame in paper plates if there’s food to eat on it! I used to think that lining baking pans with foil was wasteful on the environment and my pocketbook…….until I broke my shoulder and couldn’t scrub anymore. I used it guilt free for three years and now I’m back to scrubbing…..except when I’m tired as I’m making dinner.🤭🫤 Also, recognizing what our priorities are.(Saw all of the dead plants in the kitchen window) I took care of my parents for 24 years,my mom’s last five years were bedridden in the living room and my dad’s last five years with dementia (at home). I would gratefully accept fresh flowers but ALWAYS politely turned down potted plants.(I just didn’t have the band width for one more dependent)😵‍💫😟 Even now, seven years later, just my husband and I to care for, developing more health issues myself, I refuse to have any real plants inside because people deserve whatever energy I have left to give. I’m okay with this and enjoy plants at other people’s homes and Botanical Gardens.👍 I don’t like to resort to takeout too much, sooooo expensive!,but I do keep a few Stoffer’s Lasagna type meals in my freezer for “those nights”. DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO TO FUNCTION AS A FAMILY!🙌🏻👏👌👍

Oh wow, I love hearing that! You would probably be a good person to ask the question I get asked on almost a daily basis now...... are there actually programs that provide services similar to this? I think it's such a needed service and I have a hard time figuring out how to direct people who are in very desperate situations and just can't get on top of things. If they are elderly, it's usually easier to find help, but not for those who are struggling mentally or have had some physical ailments which have reduce the amount of stuff they can do on their own. I'm sure it differs in every state and, of course, every country, but I'm assuming you are in the US? If so, do you have any suggestions on where people can turn for some help like this other than friends, family, or a church group? Because those are not always options for people.

Doctors have gotten so bad about not believing their patients and blowing off their symptoms. It took 3 years to get my vertigo diagnosed as Meniere's Disease. It took me 7 years before a doctor paid attention and had me diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It was at least another 7 before one admitted I had "mild" arthritis in my back. Five more before another admitted the arthritis was "significant". And I'm only just getting them to do something about my gall bladder after the whole COVID interruption.

My heart went out to this homeowner. Poor girl, just trying to get through the day. I just want to give her a big hug. You have a fantastic start on the kitchen. It's so nice to see kindness at its best.

We felt the same need to hug her often, so there were, indeed, a lot of hug breaks. 😊

:) …”run on Pepsi & Gratitude!” Fuel for the soul! Oh, and you may like the KZbinr RemiClog. She’s like Mack in her ability to articulate herself, explaining her anxieties and ADHD. The channel is a great chat about motivation, putting priorities on family & kids, doing the best you can-and cleaning. She’s got a good head on her shoulders about balancing work & health issues & kids & relationships & having a home. Being a mom, I think you might relate to her in a lot of ways.

I love Remi! She's always fun to listen to and, yes, articulates things so well. She is a great resource for those dealing with ADHD and how to manage a home.

We really do need to advocate for ourselves. We know how we feel. We know our bodies. I had Whipple surgery 2007 because there was a tumor near the pancreas - NOT pancreatic cancer so I am VERY lucky. Eventually, 2019?, after countless tests because I wasn’t feeling well, it was found I had pancreatic fluid insufficiency. That makes sense! So now I take Creon with each meal or snack and it works!! So I hope your medical issues get resolved!! Wonderful work Bonnie. You are a blessing!

So glad you are able to help this poor woman. I'm so glad she's seeing better doctors now, what a nightmare. If you're reading this, lovely, speedy recovery. And there is no shame in asking for help. I struggle with that too, but it just means you know your limits. Much love 🧡🧡🧡

Hi Bonnie, im new to ur channel. Just wanted to tell u be careful while using chemical cleaners, it works wonders on surfaces, but it works opposite on u. Spray particles so small n seem insignificant, but it can go in ur eyes n skin. Long term it can have adverse affects on ur health. So many ppl get sick with all kinds of diseases without knowing how or when we got it. Its always better to be safe. Pls wear some safety glasses n long gloves. Be safe ❤
