Clearing Off a Packed Patio to Help Fellow YouTuber | We Filled an Entire Dumpster!

In today's video, I am working with my son, Jonas, and we are tackling a packed patio for free to help out fellow KZbinr, Mira, from Peeling Away the Clutter. The city provided a free dumpster and we filled it to overflowing with, not only stuff from her patio, but also branches from trees and other bags of weeds and grass trimmings. Thank you to Lisa and Daniel who helped so much with the yard cleanup.

Jonas worked very hard. You are so lucky to have a son that will help you. I have asked a youth pastor in my area if he knew any teenagers that would want to earn some money helping this 68 year old lady clean out the garage and he said he didn’t. My husband works a full-time job and then teaches part-time, so he's very busy and isn't able to help a lot, but he has been in a couple of my videos where I had him help me on a weekend to move some stuff for family and he's also in a couple of my yard work videos that I did just for fun. My oldest son is in one of my early videos helping to clean carpets in a house. Then I have two videos where I'm working with my daughter. Those bugs are found all over the world! I googled them one time and there are so many versions of them and so many names for them! In New Zealand they are called “slaters” like Christian Slater 😝 I have no idea why. Maybe their shell looks like slates? They love decomposing wood and organic stuff. Also you talk the exact right amount IMO. That’s why I watch/listen to your videos!

Congratulations to your son on getting his license. In Washington State we call them rolly polly. Try using an air compressor to blow out the filter, it works pretty well. Your sons face when that bookshelf broke in half was priceless, he looked back at you like did you just see that😂. I hope you get rest and relaxation for your burnout. We always have wildfires in Washington every summer it sucks.

....ahhh...the little black bugs. We call them Sow Bugs and they're everywhere where we live. I just found out they're not insects...they're crustaceans. They survive in high humidity and consume dead plant material. So, that explains why I always find them on the edge of the yard down in the grass roots next to the cement drive. All of you running around the back yard reminded me of my grandmother. She would have said "Many hands make light work". I think it's wonderful.

I hope that nice wood chest gets moved inside where it won't take any more damage! The spots on the wood are probably from exposure. I _personally_ wouldn't sell anything that had been sitting outside for several years since it might have mildew or damage even if it's hard to see.

That looks so much nicer! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard! Mira should hire a lawn guy to come and keep it mowed and edged regularly. It's a lovely backyard for the dogs to play in and for Mira to walk in or sit and enjoy the sound of birds or throw balls for her doggies. I cheered when Jonas used the shop vac as a blower. Good thinking. I looked up spiders and read lots of interesting facts about them, in fact I even looked up "spiders of Utah", hahaha.
