Your question is quite interesting: “can God deliver someone and still put that person into another trouble?” Because God delivered Abejoye and he was arrested doesn’t mean that God has lost his position, control or power. For me, this is a picture of someone who is completely ‘sold out for Christ.’ When we are sold out for Christ, the kingdom of Satan will not just fold their arms and be looking at you. They want to fight back. And that’s what we are seeing. Don’t forget that baba Abejoye is just a vessel God is using like apostle Paul. Paul was a good example in the Bible - from one situation to another! When we read the book of Romans chapter 8:28, 31-39, we can see that this is for the believers to be strong, continue to be encouraged, and spiritually fit. Let us also not forget that Bible has given us beautiful pictures and stories that can be unmatched by any movie or stories ever written by men.
