I noticed the major roads are wide and smooth. But the state secretariat/governor's office looked like a typical state University in Nigeria. Not bad but not wonderful. I like the Adire mall and I think it will make a good video. I feel you could have covered some of the nicer areas of town like the business district where you have a few high rise buildings as well as the private estates in town.

About 30 years a go and below, Abeokuta was bubbling after Lagos and Ibadan, now ijebu , saango otta, sagamu and even ikorodu outgrowing Abeokuta. I was there 3 years a go and the place still has that archaic looks, and Abeokuta has more prominent people as a town than any other towns after Ibadan IF not more than Ibadan in southwest. im not too cool with the present state of Abeokuta

truly bro. i`m an indigene of Abeokuta. The place has a lot of prominent people in Nigeria from Industrialists, entertainer, Politicians, mogul etc. i dont know why Abeokuta is not growing. the town ought to grown almost like Lagos. am not that happy with the current state of my hometown. a lot were happening back then in Abeokuta but unlike now, some sons and daughters of Abeokuta are not visiting, some are claiming LAgos now.

That is not Government House. That is the Ogun State Secretariat where you have the Governor's Office and Ministries/Parastatals at Oke-Mosan. The Government House where the Governor lives and sleep is situated at Oke-Igbein not at the Secretariat. I also think that no structure should be named after Muhammadu Buhari because they will never name any structure after any of our own in the North. I am from Abeokuta, born and bred there and I am one of those who advocate for the scrap or removal of Buhari or Babangida or any of the military dictators, names from our structures. That is why I will not share this... Sorry about that sis

HI TOLU, THE VIDEO IS FINE ...THE ROADS IN ABEOKUTA ARE BROAD ,CLEAN AND TIDY ...I WAS BORN AND BREAD IN ABEOKUTA ......next time you make a video like this you need TO CARRY YOUR VIEWERS ALONG BY TELLING THEM EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU ARE HEADING TO .....FOR EXAMPLE YOU DID NOT MENTION THE AREAS LIKE IBARA, SAPON , OKE ITOKU ...KUTO ...IGBEIN ......ANYWAY I WISH YOU MORE GREASE TO YOUR ELBOWS .

Yes you are right thank you so much for the compliments and leaving me your comments..I appreciate it…Initially I wasn’t mentioning the places but lots of viewers told me the same thing in my past videos so I try as much as possible to carry my precious viewers along in more recent videos. Well I hope some future governor comes along and rename that estate! Buhari is not worth having a Boy’s quarters named after him , let alone a whole housing estate! In the meantime, the estate is as shabby , defective and as derelict as the Buhari government!! Ugly birds can only build crooked nests!
