You look great in everything. I don't think it's the price, quality or the fit or the feel that concerns me. They look extremely comfortable and stylish. I have a similar high rise slight distress pair of jeans from Old Navy similar to the Dad jeans that I wear all the time. Target has a pair similar without the distress. It's nice for A&F to reach the 21st Century and not just cater to size 00, but they burned the bridge for me and I'm not going to rebuild it. I'm not usually petty and I can afford their stuff just fine, but it feels kind of fun to pass them up and say - Too little, too late. LOL. My two cents - nothing at all to do with your lovely self! Keep going!

Abercrombie like many brands in the 90s didn’t care to carry plus sizes im glad they are being inclusive now! I’m so glad you did this try on because when straight size store go plus size, they sometimes don’t get it right. Loved the 90s jeans!!!!!!!

I loved Abercrombie in college but quit them when my size changed. Good to know they are extending their sizes. Although I’m more comfortable with denim from other brands, I have seen some cute Fall tops and wondered how they fit plus sizes.

I can't understand promoting a company who doesn't support the plus size community. Are we that happy that they decided to dangle a carrot, a few pair of unimpressive jeans, that we should be running to grab anything that may happen to go on our bodies? I'm, personally not that desperate. There are more inclusive stores for us to frequent where I feel better about handing over my money. An oversized shirt that doesn't fit as oversized on me is not really meant for me to wear. Still, I appreciate what you do. And, thanks for the information.

I completely understand what you are saying, but I see it a different way. I appreciate that they are making an effort and hope the sizing will get better over time. I say support them enough to let them know we curvy women have money to spend and want to look stylish and feel comfortable, too. Be sure to leave honest and helpful reviews to encourage them to get their act together.

@@kathya9522 I think that maybe you should do some research. This company has historically rejected those who don't look a certain way. I would truly appreciate and welcome real change from Abercrombie. I just don't think we should be grateful for a few crumbs at this point. What are you going to wear with your jeans? Probably something purchased from a store who caters to a larger range of sizes in all of their clothing.

I disagree. The former CEO is the one who made the comment. Yeah it's messed up but he is no longer there & this was years ago. It was an inexcusable comment for him to make. But life goes on, companies change and they are trying to be inclusive. It is very hard to find fashionable plus size clothing and props to Abercrombie for welcoming larger sizes. It's a lot better than what other companies are doing!

All the jeans that have no stretch cause me great anxiety. I never realized how used to stretch in jeans I was til these alleged 90s style came back! Everything looked great on you. It’s just hard to spend that much on jeans. Those A and F are for kids whose parents are footing the bill! Lol.

I'm getting AEO vibes, in that the increase in sizing is a gimmick when none of the rest of their line is increased. I still love my AEO jeans though and they also have the wider leg options (just sell out quickly). My issue is getting jeans with a TRUE high waist vs marketing label (like we wouldn't notice).

Abercrombie offers up to XXXL in a lot of styles. AE didn't even offer up to XXL in store.

@@saint9961 in stock? When larger sizes are offered, they aren't stocked. Even Old Navy sells out of some styles within a few days in larger sizes. If ya' want it, it's full price or nothing.

I've been on the fence about buying A&F jeans for a while as they've been advertised as being these amazing plus sized jeans, but after your review I'm now kinda "meh". Everything looked great on you (I'm also a size 20, so I was so happy to see this!); however, I didn't think their jeans were anything new or groundbreaking compared to other plus sized jeans I can get out there - I am so glad I watched this and saved myself some $$.

When I was in high school I couldn’t afford A&F and now I don’t want to pay $$. I just don’t see that much of a difference except the price.

Between the fact that back in the 90s I dated a guy who told me I wasn't good enough for him because I didn't wear this brand, and also because they are just now including plus size, because they're way overpriced for stuff I can get anywhere, I will never, ever shop at Abercrombie & Fitch. I can and will pay good money for good quality clothes, but theirs aren't anything special and not any better quality than what I can get at Walmart for way less. I don't like wearing stuff where you are just paying for the name. That being said, everything looks great on you.

Taren, what is your inseam length? I wear a 20W or 22W for jeans and pants and they are almost always several inches too long. I'm 5'7" but my torso is longer than my legs (inseam is 29 plus a teeny bit.) Petite does not work for me. I hate that at my size I apparently should have a 32" inseam!! LOL

I guess I’m just old fashioned but I’ve never found the appeal of the distressed jeans - I just can’t see paying that much money for a pair of jeans that have been deliberately ripped or torn; plus I live in a cold, northern climate so they’d be very breezy during the winter months and not practical for casual Fridays at the office.

It’s so sad that you have to spend so much and not get much. I’ve been more impressed with what Old Navy is doing lately. Regular size and plus size now on all racks and all the same price. I work at IKEA and need comfy durable jeans or blue pants. My favorites are the pixie and the boyfriend jeans. But I do have a few rockstar thrown in too. 🤪 Even though I’d never go to AandF (haven’t in 15 years) you looked great. This old woman loves your videos.

1st pair, booo. I really dislike the ragged holes in the knees. It’s actually kind of annoying to me to but brand bra jeans that are ripped. You can rip them yourself lol. I know the high rise is in but I really dislike them. I don’t think they are flattering on anyone. To me, they make us plus women look heavier on the bottom. But even those really skinny, it makes them look bigger in not a flattering way.
