I find this so depressing. I lived in Aberdeen from 1950 to 1968. I remember Union Street as a thriving centre with restaurants and a whole range of High Street shops. Successive administrations appear to have torn the heart out of the city.

Thanks for your comment Neil. Having seen a 90s video of Union Street I agree that it has lost quite a few good brands. Union Square have definitely pulled away some of the big brands from Union Street.
