Full 6 points from the next 2 home games needed. Apart from the last 10-15 minutes and losing two silly goals, the away match against Motherwell was probably the best we've played all season. We just need to go out there and play like that again tonight. I was working over in Germany for around 4 months in 2008, and as soon as the draw was made I managed to get the project manager to schedule our work in Munich around the dates Aberdeen would be playing Bayern Munich. I watched the Pittodrie leg in a hotel room in Munich and couldn't believe we managed to get a draw. I got hold of a ticket for the game at the Allianz, but it was in the home end. Still to this day it''s the only time I've watched an Aberdeen match from the opposing supporter's end. Had to go into work the next morning, so wasn't able to spend too long in the pub that evening. Even with the 5-1 defeat it was still a great experience

I think polvara has the potential to be a big player this season but should be playing in a more central position.He is the one midfield player we have who is capable of providing a goal threat running on to the ball from a deeper position.Playing him as a box to box player or In a more advanced role behind bojan would give the midfield something different that we don't have at the minute.He has only played a bit part but has shown enough in some games that he could come in and be a regular starter.The Clarkston shinnie mgrath dynamic has not worked well enough in the middle this season but with Dante playing further forward and mgrath and duk or Morris wide of him it would leave bojan far less isolated than he has been at times this season

There's 2 teams I can't stand playing against, One's St Johnstone and the other is Motherwell, absolutely murderes games to watch, I think I'll wait till efter the game and see fit the score wiz. Brutal min!

There's no question that we have the team there to be sitting 3rd. The reason we are where we are is because of the previous Manager. I don't care if he's a 'nice' guy and a local lad, he utterly destroyed that squad. He should've been sacked back in October/November, as it was more than obvious that he was completely out of his depth and would never turn things around. He's to blame for the lack of form with Duk and Clarkson. These lads are still excellent players, but have very clearly been managed wrong.. It doesn't then help with the fickle nature of our fans. As soon as a player has a couple of poor games, the fans are on them and don't ease up. Some players don't even get a chance, such as Morris. There's a good winger in that laddie. I keep saying, remember how poor Hayes was, when he joined us. His decision making was terrible, he couldn't cross, all he had was his pace. Morris is very similar, in that he has pace to burn, but often makes the wrong decision when in a good position. With the right coaching, he'll be a brilliant player for us. Tomorrow, we have to show signs of improvement, even if we don't score a load of goals, there has to be an improvement in form. We know this team can play, as we've seen it this season, with more encouragement and proper coaching from Neil, we'll see this quad come good, we've got too many good players for them not to. Win these two home games and then really get the teeth into it and end the season strong.

I think Neil might go with 2 up top tonite with a midfield diamond of barron sitting deep shinnie and mgrath either side with either Leighton or polvara operating behind bojan and duk!I think this system would def be worth looking at but we need to start getting our full backs pushed on more especially in games at home where we tend to start far to slow this season.Giving Leighton a bit more freedom might be the key to getting more out of him as he has not had the same influence on the team playing deeper this season
