Quick tip. Create folders, put a set of armor in each. Then you can equip everything in the entire folder at once. You just hold down right click on the folder, you will see an option to equip all.

Doubt this will work on official, you need to be able to kill the tentacles on a single reload to beat the timer which isn't possible with a capped shotty, will deffo need at least 2 players Glass cannon melee build with a 290-ish sword was the way to do it on ASE but doesn't work on ASA as you can't hit the heart, a really high level player might be able to do it by putting some points in weight so you can carry a shotty and enough ammo to kill Rockwell and use a sword on the tentacles?

hmm very interesting about the sword thing will have to look into that, also i did explain that you can use this strat 100% for single players and unofficials, however for actual officials i recommand indeed 2 players since time limit. but let's be honest, who really does this boss fight solo on official? there is no real reason to unless you're playing solo.

the soup will make you invisible to normal tames this will result in much fewer flying balls that damage you, no reaper, no nameless will attack you. if you bring a tame they will all attack you making it much harder. also, check the pinned comment for the link the trick to soup video.

So rockwell is fixed now right you can get element? Also some people say that you have to put the element from rockwell into a tame to keep it is this true?

yes, it is fixed now, when you kill him a crate will spawn containing the element and trophy. collect the crate and place all your gear and elements inside a tame to keep it. otherwise, you risk loosing all when respawning.

I don't know if anyone has stated this but you can access lights inventory while it's on your shoulder so you don't have to throw it down

yeah i do mention this later in the video even tho my dumb as threw it down to take out bullets. almost got the bulb killed xD i believe you do this by holding R atleast on pc

Not sure if you did the emote manually for the purpose of viewer visualisation but you can bind two emotes to a keybind making clap a lot easier & surrender/wave for people playing the NPC survivor mods on both evolved and ascended

You can bind them, but you better check before the fight. I have to rebind them every time I log off. In single player, and on my server.

without broth, it will be much more difficult, reapers, nameless and many more of those red balls will spawn and attack you

Unless they have changed it in ASA you should be able to stick to one side of the platform and shoot the tentacles on the other side

i do explain this in the video, basically in my tests yes you can hit most tentacles from the start, however only 1 or 2 pellets would land meaning you have to shoot them many more times like a ridiculous amount so much better to do it running.

no, the soup makes the boss fight completely different, if you bring in tames they will attack you and will have to fight off nameless, reapers, and much more making it harder.

This is not official as you see the damage numbers. Rockwell does not have the same hp, armor etc so it's a different fight with different damage.

@@yoyobb762 True there is no timer, and I explain this however i do this is on maximum difficulty with single-player settings disabled. this is exactly the same difficulty as in the same hp for boss and damage take a look at how often i have to shoot the tentacles. i do have many boss fight videos which are well received since i always use these settings so it does apply to everyone.
