Literally walked around the perimeter of Aberthaw powerstation two days ago. Always wanted to know what it's like inside since I was a kid. Amazing you climbed the chimney too. Bloody amazing views from up there! Brilliant videos matey. Thoroughly enjoyed 👌

Loved the video guys - I actually operated those units from the "good old" CEGB days in1976 to the "not-so-good" National Power days in 1999. Was nice to have a chance to reminisce. Those were boiler safety valves on the roof btw.

@@abandoneduk4640 Yes, I've also checked out part 1 (excellent!). There were various safety valves from different sections of the boiler ie. economiser, drum, superheaters etc. all which vented out on the roof, bearing in mind you're looking at 2300psi at 560 degrees C.
