Idk if I missed it but does this record only if you specifically press record? Like if my phone isn’t on me and someone breaks in, will the footage be recorded on the SD card? I’m a first time security camera buyer and want to make sure I’m buying the right camera. My sister has the google nest but these seem comparable and better priced for my budget.

Yes, just from the app go into the settings and select "delete" it will then factory reset the camera.

No, it must have WiFi. If your WiFi is down and you have an SD Card installed it will record to that SD Card but you need WiFi to view the camera.

It should have a reset pin or reset button by the SD card slow. If it's the exact same model camera.
