Hi Bishop Abet! ❤ I never get tired of listening to God's word through you. While the young Solomon was overwhelmed by the responsibilities passed on to him by his father, he asked God for wisdom and a servant's heart to understand how to discern between good and evil for his people. ❤ May we be inspired by Solomon that in his asking for a discerning heart, he was not asking for a greater intellectual capacity to understand situations or knowledge of sciences and military skills. ❤ We need a compassionate and discerning heart to make wise decisions. He asked for the capacity to use the heart, the gut, to complement intellectual knowledge that only God can give ❤❤❤

You know Bishop, I just know its a prayer. Its been one of my favorite since school years ages ago and made a crosstitch out of it. Beautiful prayer indeed, "Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change; the courage to do the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." This had been my guiding lines when I do not understand a thing I'm working on or of things that came my way. Thank you Bishop for sharing this which most often we felt too overwhelm to think, to carry the loads that burden us that were not of our own doing. Good day and Happy New Year!
