Classic. Jami Gertz was my 1st crush as a kid. So beautiful. And what red blooded male didn't want to be one of the "Lost Boys"? I would have taken David up on his "Bring me my wine." in a heartbeat. Thanks for uploading I had no idea this even existed.

Great job, one of my favorite vampire tales from back in VHS renting area. The differences from book to movie just made it even better.

You know, I have of course, gotten over my vampire stage at this age, but the Lost Boys has always been the one story that still makes me want to be a vampire. Well, this and Salem's Lot. But, you know, I watched this movie a lot and I was always focused on the central story so I never quite realized that Star is kind of the "Wendy" of this story and David is "Pan". Of course a lot of people wouldn't realize that if they didn't know anything about the story.

Thank you. For uploading the book. And yeah. That way you can do copyrighted stop and do I audiobook version of it it is because you're not making any money you're not selling it. It is strictly just for your enjoyment and your friends enjoyment.and the reason you don't hear too many people doing it. It's because it's a lot of work. It also. Destroys your vocal chords. If you're going to do it. Woke up what you need to do. So your vocal chords do not get damaged. A lot of the page NARA raider. Are way way worse or than this. They are just. Normal people read in a book. I don't think they really think about the drama and 30 shuttle update. Reading. Are the research I wish they would but. I appreciate what they do the way they do it already.

I don't think I have ever encountered anyone before who doesn't know the tune to Walzing Matilda ....if you are narrating a book then surely if you are in the tiny minority that's never either heard this or the Pogues version (which includes the tune to Walzing Matilda proper), they would look it up before attempting to sing it in public!

Almost every character in this book is a male character, and the narrator's soft female voice doesn't capture the intensity of many of the characters, along with missing the way a teenager would phrase what they say and their word emphasis, kinda ruined this for me. Over and over again, the narrator's emphasis and wrong tone of voice ruins scene after scene making it ridiculous, fake, and unbelievable... Sigh... But she does pretty good on the grandfather. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Any Audiobook with a combined rating of 15.0+ / 20 is recommended to listen to. Overall I couldn't finish listening to the book and would rate it like this: Original Story: 8.7/10 Narrator: 3.1/10 --------------- Total Score: 11.8/20 -------------- A total combined score of 15.0+ / 20 is a recommended book. I do commend her for the effort she put in, but the narration dropped this book below the range of a personal recommendation... This is only one person's opinion, and I might be completely wrong... Decide for yourself NOT RECOMMENDED

Agreed. I'm really grateful that someone took the time and effort to read these novelizations, don't get me wrong. I also don't want to discourage their efforts,But as someone who has tried to get through several with this particular narrator... I can't recommend a single one. only because of the narrator. Tone, emphasis, inflection are usually off, bored, or indifferent to what's actually happening-- turning any scene into a plodding list. The drama behind the reading is almost akin to a middle schooler's style. It's not the content it's the delivery. Check out all the alien novelizations-- great voice acting and delivery by one narrator.

And the resounding FAIL on Walzing Matilda (which is even on a Samsung Galaxy's predictive text lol! not the tune obviously, but the song is so famous that if you stick in Walzing....Matilda is one of the words that comes up even if your phone is set to Deutsch on the language selection!

+Dorothea Hudson Agree completely. ..it never seems to occur to them to research what they are reading. ...or that's how it comes across. ..I'm happy to listen to the story but 99% of the population could deliver a better narrative!

Yeah, the narration has got to go. Needs something better.
