I find it funny that a good fraction of the comment section seems to not understand what Abgerny is about and a bit of the lore. Vurr, being under the control of a VR headset, was in a simulation with her friends, or otherwise known as the people in the horror version. They are either dead, missing, or in hiding. William, the deer skull creature, is Vurr's 'imaginary' friend. He is the one behind most of the people's deaths, leaving Vurr alone with her thoughts whence she managed to take off the headset. Vurr wishes she could go back.. But it is too late now.

I am pretty sure Vurr’s real name is actually Vanessa. In the horror version there is a note saying “I tired to warn you VANESSA.” This could possibly mean that someone tried warning her not to take the headset off but she did anyway.
