There sure have been a bunch of foundation releases this year! It's nice to have more choices as far as finishes go. Looks like this will be the trend for a while with beauty brands. I think this foundation looks beautiful on your skin. The fact that you like the powder speaks volumes because I know you are particular about powder especially under your eyes. My preference is a matte foundation (exception is Laura Mercier Luminous) because I'm an oily skinned girl. However, I can sometimes get away with wearing a somewhat dewier type finish when the weather is cooler. I am definitely going to check this one out though and the powder. Omg I have super dry skin too I found applying some kind of oil 5-10 mins before applying foundation really helps I usually go in with jojoba oil then prime my face and omg it makes such a big difference it stops the foundation from sticking to dry patches of the face

I bought it on monday and got also the 220N and vanilla powder...I also feel the foundation worked better as the day went on..I am happy with both the foundation and the powder...but people should go to the store to find their shade, because the shades are very deceiving with undertones, because there were a few that had N on them and they were extremely yellow...best to go to the store to find your shade. :)

I actually felt like some of the warm shades were more neutral than the neutral shades as well. Definitely agree this needs to be looked at in person and in different lightings.

I ordered the ABH Luminous foundation and I’m looking forward to trying it soon. I watched “Makeupd0ll” video on this foundation and she compares the formula to NARS All Day Luminous. She says that if you have the NARS, you don’t need the ABH because they are very similar

Hi Mel . I’m rewatching your video review of this foundation because I recently acquired it, since it was on sale for only like $28 at Ulta. I tell you I was so excited to get this and when I opened it and I popped it out onto my hand the smell so chemical. To find a video that says anything about the smell of this foundation. . It reminds me of the wetnwild foundation that I threw away. The scent faded after a couple minutes. I did like the way that my face looked. I’ll have to exchange for a warmer shade. I’m almost thinking about buying the Dior backstage foundation instead s thanks for your review. 🙏🌅💖

If 220N is your winter shade, what shade do you think would be your summer shade? - it's difficult to judge from the picture at the end, the shades from MAC seems to be a bit far from the ABH's shades and ABH 250C seems to be the closest to MUFE Y245, but a touch darker.

Yay so glad you tried this today! I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I’m going to try it out today. I will say that I have the shade 240 coming from the Abh website but I ordered 305 and 330 from Ulta and they are so warm and orange types of shades that I’m shocked! I agree with you in that the undertones are not neutral and that’s what I use as well. Well hopefully it will work for my oily-combo skin! I know it’s going to be Luminous and as long as it lasts on me as long as the Giorgio Armani Luminous silk does then I’ll be happy. ❤️😍💋 Can’t wait to see what you think of the Pat Mcgrath foundation and powder.

I was curious about this foundation as I'm a "combo-more dry" girl, and knew you'd come through w/ a detailed review. Good to know about the undertones as well. I've been striking out w/ a lot of new foundations in terms of weird undertones (Juvia's Place, TF Powder, Mother Pat), good for my wallet (ha!) but a bit disappointing, so I'll def. swatch in store before committing. Like the ingredients and claims on this one too, maybe my skin won't rebel and start the acne wars w/ this one, lol

I have problems with foundations that have so called 'neutral' undertones as well. I had a sample of MAC N4.75, but it was too warm so I went back to NC20. Most brands I think err on the side of caution and add a little extra pink or yellow. I suppose we'll go on trying till the right one comes along 😌.
