Everyone's logic is flawed. Please try to understand - ev does not mean reduction in pollution. As we are still 70 to 80% dependent on non renewable energy source. A better option to use is a hybrid car which is less polluting compared to an ev or pure fuel based car.

No. There is a hell lot of difference how electricity is produced and how oil is extracted. Oil extraction and its transportation is far more polluting than electricity can ever be. Also, electricity can be clean when more solar and hydroelectric projects are operational which can be never be said for ICE cars.

So, as of now, all ev vehicles are just a gimmick for not polluting the earth atmosphere. Also, do you know how its batteries are manufactured? If we were talking about the likes of european countries, which are fully dependent on renewable sources, then the discussion would have been a bit different. Even then, the same question about batteries will pop up.

Tbh Evs could be our future but it will take hell lot of a time cuz we will have to make ev's cost friendly at first because average indian family won't just spend that much amount of money on an electric vehicle at the first place and now EVs that are produced gives less range or has some other disadvantages EVs which are actually good will cost you around 60-70 lakhs which is way too much money for any other family and plus not everyone has enough time to wait at the charging station for 1 hr to charge their vehicle and go they want it right on just like any other petrol/diesel cars. So the main thing to do now is to make petrol/diesel cars for efficient and making emit less harmful gases i guess that's the way to go now for next 10-15 years until EVs mature in India

The entire process of manufacturing an electric vehicle is more un-environment friendly than an ICE car. Volve even tested on one of their vehicles and published a report 1 or 2 years ago.

पॉल्यूशन के लिए तो ई वी वाहन बहुत बढ़िया है पर इसके कुछ बहुत ज्यादा दुष्परिणाम भी है जैसे कि जहां पर लिथियम का खनन किया जाता है वहा और उसके आसपास की भूमि बंजर हो जाती है और इसक 1 टन खनन के लिए करोड़ों लीटर पानी की बर्बादी भी होती है जबकि पानी जीवन के लिए सबसे ज्यादा जरूरी है बिल्कुल ऐसे ही जैसे किसी चीज के फायदे हैं तो उसके नुकसान भी हैं इस कारण ही भारत में जहां जहां पर लिथियम के भंडार मिले हैं सरकार ने अभी तक अपनी ओर से इस बारे में कोई बयान नहीं दिया है क्योंकि उसके खनन और उस से होने वाले नुकसान के बारे में सरकार भी अच्छी तरह जानती है शायद वक्त आने पर वह इस पर आगे कुछ करेंगे!
