A lot of negative things are shown about her. I would assume she was a normal human being who had both good and bad qualities. All of us are similar. We have both good and bad in us. I saw interviews and documentaries about her where some of her good qualities were also highlighted. It is disappointing that this movie only focused on the bad qualities. Also some of the incidents are not authenticated. There are other versions which show a different story. A better screenplay, better direction, more valid scenes and better artistes would have made this movie much better. (For ex: Mahanati, acted by Keerthi Suresh is superbly directed)

Shara panjarada a nataneyu pooja ravaralli kaana lilla but I'm happy that Pooja has given her own voice to the character . She has tried her best but still there is no fluent kannada some where. Character needs fluent kannada because Kalpana was kannadigas that's why I'm telling . Movie is nice but not for children
