Sir in sec 175 in case of special Quorum - Quorum shall be No. Of non interested directors who are present at meeting but minimum 2 is required In that case in example given by you you said that it should be 2 or 4 which ever is higher Is it not contradictory

In that example, provision of spl quorum will not be applicable as the intrstd no. of directors (7) is not more than or equal to 2/3 of tnod(12) i.e 8, so in that case normal quorum provisions shall be considered i.e higher of 1/3 of tnod or 2 which comes to 4.
