Aur 3-4 saal ke baad trading/swing trading karunga. till that LONG-TERM investing in progress.. kabhi kabhi lagata hai over purchase kar rahaa hu. I am doing trading and investment in stock market from last 6 to 7 years. One thing I realised that only government, company promoters, brokers and stock operators make money in stock market. These four never allow other to make money in stock market. Government earn taxes, promoters make money by manipulating stock prices, brokers charges brokerage and operators get their salaries from promoters. This system designed and works in this way only. If you are not belongs to any one out of these four and make money in stock market then it means you are lucky. If a good company which is in uptrend giving dividend of 5 rupees then operators manage to drop it's share price by 5 rupees on dividend record date. It means if you are earning 5 rupees per share, same times you are loosing 5 rupees.

let assume 1 lakh capital. so 100000/10=10000 that means 10000 used in a single strategy if you loss 10% that means 1000 which is 1% of total capital.

May be Bcoz u divide your capital and take trade only with 10% of your capital in particular strategy OR may be you hedge or adjust at some points to reduce/minimize risk.
