I am a day trader in US stock market.. i trade options and stocks only.. I would like to say couple of things which most traders or gurus won't tell u.. Focus only on 2 stocks.. one stable and one volatile.. Trade those two stocks only.. no bank nifty or nifty or anything. Listen to everyone about news but never follow anyone.. follow two stocks only. I use VWAP, 9 EMA and volume for day trading... Keep your focus and determine your profit and loss. Never change from scalper ( fast in and out of trade ) to day trader ( holding position for more then 10 minutes) toooooo Swing trading... Swing trading is not worth it if you are buying an options.... If u r Sellers then swing trading might be good.. Be consistent and focus.. make small profit and grow... Trading is an art, religion.. For me Abhishek is enough to learn both option Buying and selling. I not only study the change in OI but also far OTM prices. It's like on last Thursday I noticed 35500 PUT was trading at 64 that's for this weeks Expiry. I bought 5 lots at 64 with SL of 52 & on Friday exited at 250 to 285. This gives a fair idea

U can not set SL for holding option . What if its open next day @32 ? So in buying option its hard to exit with pre define SL with carry position.
