Hello Abhishek Sir, thanks a lot for the great class. After this session I was practicing the network configurations for virtual machine, so I have created two VM in same VNET and Subnet with ports open HTTP, HTTPS and SSH and installed docker on both the VM's and tried to make a swarm cluster, but I am not able create a cluster and getting timeout when I am adding worker node to manager node. could you please advise

Just a small query why is SG not blocking the connection as we didnt allowed the Firewall ip to access the VM on port 80

I mentioned that in the video but anyways, by default every instance created is attached with a default SG AllowVnetInboubd with priority 65000. That is why the instances can be accessed with in the Vnet.

The session was very informative ! Thank you for delivering such content for free! I just have a small query here. We wrote a DNAT rule , which modifies the destination IP:port. So it becomes FWIP:4000 to nginx:80 However if I remember correctly, we discussed in previous session that ports are blocked by default in azure and we need to open it explicitly. But we didn’t write a rule on VM(nginx) to open port 80. How are we still able to access the static website hosted in nginx?

Hi Sir, I have one doubt that. In Firewall policy we have given IP address and priority as 100. For suppose In NSG, i have created a inbound rule to deny IP address and give the priority as 100. Which one it will take ? It goes with Firewall or NSG ? If the NSG was Associated with ---"Subnet"---, Which one it will take? It will take firewall policy or NSG policy? If the NSG was Associated with ---"NIC"---, Which one it will take? It will take firewall policy or NSG policy?
