Ndi Oma refers to the Hausas/Nigerian army. The song is in reference to our girls that were kidnapped from the east and never heard of again. The song is asking the Ndi oma to give account of these girls. Some Hausa officers actually came back years latter with their now wives to pay bride price etc, and to let the families know their daughters were alive. Ndi oma became the code name for the Hausas after the war.

I have searched for Agbachaekurunwa especially the LP by Mbaise Women Association, Lagos Branch led by Chief Mrs Caro Anyanwu from Umunachi (Agu na Ebere Autobomous Community) in Ezeagbogu. My mom was in that LP.

Immediately after the Biafran War, Nigerian soldiers camped in virtually every market square within Igbo Land. They continued the war progrom of genocide, forcefully taking women they could see. They killed Igbo men and took their wives, daughters and mothers. The atrocities went on for a long time. You could have asked where was the United Nations Peace Corps.
