One was trying to go undefeated and get a title for the first time since 1956, the other was trying to join the rare club of Texas teams to 3-peat. The stakes were high, and these were both rather stories teams for the amount of championships they have.

@@theuhohoreo100in a pretty good spot for the next couple of years, Good QBs back to back grades for at least 3-5 years, WRs as well, and defense always will be good, Abilene High Defense rarely fails, o line might be a bit lacking after this year, but they are honestly in a good spot for a State Championship run

hell naw abilene was some fucking beast this year they beat CEDAR HILL LONGHORNS 41-17. CEDAR HILL WAS THA NUMBER 1 TEAM IN THA STATE, when abilene defeated them like that, it was no doubt that they would lose a game. we knew they were going to be state champions.

I remember when AHS couldn't win to save their lives. I was at the 1981 game when the eagles beat Cooper after not winning for 15 years. I believe the fumble roosky won the game.

We used to mop the floor with the eagles back in my day. Abilene week was a guaranteed win on the schedule, no question. Good to see the program achieve do so well. Great looking ball club in this video.

Well you must not know john curtis because they are 2a and they dont care if your 6a they whip yo ass, they beat hoover alabama a couple years back and thats when they had joe mcknight, they recruit and they start thier system early, your 2a schools where you live may not be good but in louisiana they recruit, try Evangel as an example as well
