Firework, hear me out. The main E ability cant work in your favor unless you actively try to launch them your way, which involves flicking your camera, which if detonated early due to not being able to see who your aiming at cuz of said flick, can result in a miss. Its rewarding if you hit it, but punishing if you miss. The Q ability can be used to follow up a punch combo if they get knocked too far, stunning them long enough for you to get closer. But it can also be used to escape a combo, or just fly back onto the map. And if you use it under a ledge, you can fling yourself in such a way that you have the ability to land on a player for an easy early attack. And if you mess any of this up, you're just as good as a default ability.

for me the abilitys that you rlly need some skill its Glue - You can kill people easy with it but you need to use it on the right time Grapple - In The Vid Jester - Its Bad but if you get better with it , it become pretty good Boomerang - Its A Bad Version Of Shift , good for combos but its not easy landing it

i would like to counter the coffe and energy, speed in this game is very important due to how ping works, if you get hit you are in something I call the disadvantage its when you wake up and try to move but still get hit due to you freezing on the other players screen granting them a free hit, due to this there is no basic counter play other then abilities you cannot out punch.

It trick that I recommend with coffee is actually to go to the vending machine until you get the speed boost or damage for the speed boost it matches energy drink without a sugar crash damage really increases damage

Btw with engineer you can make a robot if you are creative enough so I will tell you how to make it (this is my original build) Step 1: place a plank and add one wheel on each side at the right side Step 2: add a plank on the wheel on the right side of the plank and then add a plank and repeat on all sides Step 3: add driver seat on the middle and to your right and left add 8 balloons on both sides and then move forward and see it come to life (Srry if I explained it bad and to move the robot move forward a little bit till you lean then when you get up do it again and again sorry if I explained it bad and btw at any point during the build DO NOT TOUCH THE LIMBS OF THE ROBOT OR IT WILL ACTIVATE)

well if you count abilities like return, festive (the sleigh can avoid falling off the map), mechs jetpack, teleportation, gravity (pretty hard to clutch with gravity but doable), grapple e ability,static flight,time q ability, possibly portal and quantum teleport then engineer can be countered.

You shouldn’t rely on stun should always try to do separate punches when needed and also grapple isn’t a guaranteed kill anymore with existence of Mystic, and many others

Grapple doesn’t require skill unless you make it if u regularly use time then you would run and wait till ur abilities are gone and send them into the backrooms or the void/no skill but if you have skill you would just fight without waiting

plasma HEAR ME OUT. it just got a rework and has 3 abilities now but is no longer a 1-shot, and the 3 abilities are teleport, plasma beam and invincibility. If you dont know how to use it properly your as good as teleport BUT if you get good with it you can potentially kill a 100 DoS.

E is good escape tool, just have to very mindful of the timer, usually only good for one jump.
