one of my favourite new things in 12 is you can just hold down B for the brush/pen just while you use it, then let go and it turns off. works with the other single key toggle things too

Ned use “copy value to siblings” in the right click menu, you won’t have to click between drum rack cells to mod the same parameter. Workflow!

well in heavy dubstep going off the grid just means popping the sample delay panel open and sliding stuff around in time til its wonky. its basically just groove or swing

but if all you do is mess with delaying the notes your notes are still linked to a "grid", and their relationship is still griddy, except they're offset a bit. Like the space between the notes is still griddy
