I have never subscribed to anyone because it is SO annoying how most people spend the first 3 minutes asking you to subscribe and blah blah blah. I love how straight to the point this is. You are the man #1 You are officially the first person I am subscribing to

Every once and a while you come across content creators that actually provide useful entertaining and down to the point content without the mindless rambling followed by "please subscribe" "like the video" "hit the bell" "if you want more videos like these..." It's these creators that make KZbin so great.

I use KZbin a BUNCH, but I have only about 5 subscriptions (and I rarely comment). You got mine at about 3:00 when you mentioned Shift-Scroll... not even related to your topic but a game-changer for me. I've been using Live since 2.0 ... but somehow missed that gem. Thanks for the tips! I'm new to Ableton and I am floored by all the cool stuff you can do with the Push 2! I agree... too many long, drawn-out videos. Some cover too much, others include TMI. Feeling your pain on the insistent caller! LOL! Turn it off or put it in DND mode. I had to disconnect my phone from the laptop because it got so annoying. Keep up the great videos! Quick and to the point.. awesome!

You're legend Ian, I thought I became pretty comfortable with Push, and yet I'll be able to use all of these points to improve my workflow. I'd love to see a standalone video about how you go about playing chords on the push. Guitar is my main instrument so it was very helpful to see your flow.
@IanPriven4 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear it man. You got it. What specifically related to chords do you want to know? It's tough to gage what people want to know in terms of theory and also in terms of the Push2. Thanks again for watching.
@julienbenatar4 жыл бұрын
@@IanPriven Sorry I missed your answer! I'm mostly wondering if you read the push in the way you read a guitar fretboard? I haven't been able to write chords on the push since I don't really know what I'm looking at. So I assume this is as basic as it is.
@GreatestSportsHighLights4 жыл бұрын
You can load the chords you want in session view and on each scene double-tap and on the bottom left-hand select trigger! Now you can control each scene that you put the chords on from your push on the pads! Now if you are playing them and not loading chords you can select the chords on your push2 to play your chords and to stay in key Switch to chromatic view it will be easier to understand since this view is similar to the guitar structure of chords keep up the amazing work and have a great day!

LOL the phone ringing at the end. Also I didnt know the swing knob on the push can affect a single midi note. Thanks!
@IanPriven4 жыл бұрын
So it's not actually affecting a single note. Though it is only moving a single note, it will not move notes that are on downbeats. Since only one note was *not* on a downbeat, that was the only one that was affected.
@onesuavestudio4 жыл бұрын
@@IanPriven Ohh I understand. That's actually better because it's less guesswork. Do you know if there's a way to adjust that 'swing' without the Push?
