Nice great vid!! Nice use of the controllers. I'm doing something similar except using a launch control xl. Don't have a headset camera on?

very impressive. Did you build all Patterns just on the push3 (no computer) and is the lead sound from you Moog?
@kevinverkindt3 ай бұрын
Thanks @ArjunHDTV , it depends. In this case I started in Ableton and used the push 3 as a controller. Sometimes I use the Push 3 as a 'sketch book'. The lead comes from a Serum patch I made. Usually, I sample my hardware instruments to build a track. Afterwards I make sure I can still tweak certain elements (eg. filters on synths) when doing these jam videos. The Intech Studio controllers are controlling different paraments like HP/LP filter, reverbs, echo delay/timing, mutes, claps, white noise etc. My older videos were dawless but it was difficult to emulate these DJ style effects on the hardware. Now it's best of both worlds for me.

Helloooww. What about the Intech Studio Controller. How are the knob? I’m searching for a midi controler with good really good knob. Ps: really nice stuff
@kevinverkindt3 ай бұрын
Hi @MartinDBaka , the knobs feel nice and firm. No wiggling around. The buttons are nice and clicky and I really like the faders. The setup is very small and light. The magnets work great as well. Overall, I really like the setup though I do not have any experience with other midi controllers.

This may seem like a dumb question but is this thing easy to use? And by "easy" I mean is it easier to use than Native Instruments' Maschine Micro MK 3?
@kevinverkindtАй бұрын
@@TheCoolProfessor I have no idea how the Maschine works to be honest. The Push 3 is quite easy to learn. Took me a week to get used to it and my background is with Elektron gear so for me it was something new. If you have a laptop I would not necessarily buy the standalone version though.

This is awesome, I've been exploring where Push 3 fits in my setup so please excuse my super novice questions haha! I'm guessing based on your description, that you've made the track basically on the Digitakt, Moog, and Minilogue.Then sampled all that into Push 3 to arrange and perform in its session view? That sounds pretty sweet! Right now I have everything BUT my Digitakt going into push 3 and I often find it tricky since the drums are out of Push 3 but everything else is in it haha.
@kevinverkindt3 ай бұрын
Hi @RickyTinez, thanks a lot! The sampling and arranging was done in Ableton. After that part is done, I freeze and flatten all channels so everything is compatible with the Push 3 in standalone mode. Then I just consolidate the differents parts of a song into scenes. At the same time I decide what I want to tweak live (filters on synths, levels, snare rolls, white noise, rev/delays, LP/HP etc...) and program the midi for the Intech controllers. Then it is just a matter of transferring the project to the Push 3 and you are good to go in standalone mode. Basically I use the P3 as an Ableton controller first and then in standalone for live performance. Sometimes I use it as a sketch book as well in standalone. Actually I work with a template that already contains the midi in/out setup, audio in channels for my external gear, master compressor, live FX etc.. I always start with that template so everything is ready to go. For my last jams, I stopped using the DT. It felt a bit cumbersome switching back and forth between the DT and P3 + I have the same drum samples and processing options on the P3. I hope that gives you some answers. Cheers Kevin

I think the H1 audio quality is probably better than the push laptop sounding converters. Very disappointed with mine. With that you could remove the stop buttons from all the clips in the record channel apart from the one you hit for recording.
@kevinverkindt3 ай бұрын
Oh I need to try that one out next time. As the Model 12 is able to record onto SD, I can simply access the files on my pc as the mixer is connected via usb. Just figured that out as well haha. Funny how much time goes into looking for solutions instead of making music. Thanks!

Any reason for using the Zoom H1 over just recording into Push 3?
@kevinverkindt4 ай бұрын
I could not figure out how to record the full jam live into the Push 3 without interrupting it when launching a new scene. Last jam I just recorded it into my Tascam Model 12 instead of the H1. If you know a way, let me know :)
