In this Ableton tutorial we look at how to use the Beats Warp algorithm to super impose transients that don't exist into sounds to create rhythms and percussive sequences. Support me on Patreon to download this set plus many many more.

Been doing this for years now. The sweet spots for timing other than Transient are 0, 10, 25, 50, and 100. Take the same exact loop and set it up those 5 ways. Set the Follow Actions to 50% Play Again and 50% Play Other, record the result and snip your favorite bits out...or run with it wild, as I am more likely. Or then drag the result into Simpler and slice your way to thrilling happiness. Bonus, duplicate all 5 and change their timing, continue running it, note the fun. :D I haven't used drums to make drum tracks in a very long time. I get stuck wanting to try every kick, to heck with that. It's quick and fulfilling to derive drums and if you have experimented enough, there's no end to sources for it. Love yours here. Cheers.

I wish Ableton would let you automate the transient loop mode and the fade number box. It's been years since I wonder why the heck it doesn't allow that!

If you wanna get rid of the the snare on the first beat, just automate the clip gain to zero for the first 1/4 note.👍 (You might get an annoying click remaining but just do the same at the end of the clip too.)
