Unbeatable iOS performance tools. love this setup btw., using something similar myself -- Ableton Push 2, Komplete Kontrol s61, iPad .. Tried studiomux but it crashed too often, so went with iConnectMidi4+ hardware solution. Quantum Sequencer, Fugue Machine, Borderlands + touchable.

@* AnimalHeadSpirit * It's such a good app that it's worth getting an iPad just for it... And Borderlands obviously! Earlier versions of the iPad are pretty cheap secondhand now, I think musicians will be snapping them up, installing the apps and disconnecting them from the internet so they never update, therefore ensuring the apps work forever.

@stray4116 жыл бұрын
He's using ClyphX, which can do all sorts of things. For example, if you go to 2:05, you can see the track named Set Auto, which contains clips (called X-Clips) with instructions (called Actions) that are being used to set the tempo and select different tracks. Just Google ClyphX and you'll find lots of info on it. ClyphX Pro is now available, which is quite a bit more powerful and easier to use.

@andydelga6 жыл бұрын
What is exactly a Macro in this context? Anyone ...!?
@martinrangel71716 жыл бұрын
if you look and pause at 2:05 at the bottom left you will see 8 "macro" knobs. these are parameters you define, or sometimes are predefined by and instrument but you can change them. Essentially they are helpful for when you group devices together its a good way to keep parameters that you want handy without having to go digging in every device. or for VST where you dont have to open the actual instrument to modify parameters.
