Last tip I forgot to mention. Your master is not finished at this point. You will need to listen back and automate accordingly to make sure your master still translates ;)

how would you go about "automating accordingly?" Do you use multiple presets and cue them on the time line? Last one: do some songs need fewer/more persets?

@@garrettspies8970 Great question. What I mean is not presets but you automation eq bands for instance or the limiter itself. Generally speaking just giving a little bump for the drop is very nice to do. Things of this nature. If you are interested in this kind of stuff check my channel and the mixing series there

Fucking hell this tune is such a banger. It's really refreshing watching a tutorial where I actually want to keep listening to the track repeated. Normally the tunes mastered in tutorials are awful and it's such a struggle to have to listen to that crap over and over as stuff gets explained. Great video. Excellent charisma.

especially as a beginner producer I have realized that mastering is the hardest part. Mixing is difficult too but doable but mastering is really difficult to do so far lol

While a really basic tip, the recommendation to turn off the visualizer to really hone in on the levelling with only your hearing is so huge. It's one of those beginner tweaks that sets you up for years of success. Thanks for the vid Guido ❤🔥

Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is a great explanation of how to learn the fundamentals mainly using already installed tools. I like this practice because it helps to understand other 3rd party tools down the line. 6ms with no auto release and one with 1.5ms and auto on is a bit if a sneaky trick for sure. But double or even triple limiting has been around for years :). Give it a try or a Google search

making youre music loud is really matter of the genre of it if i make a music like dark ambient how can i turn the db up to -9 or more.. i even leave it at -15 and its still loud even in spotify! but amazing simple mix i liked it!

Presumably, most or all of the mastering tools are removed from the free version that comes with some hardware. It would be interesting to see how far a track can get towards completion with only the demo software.
