I spent about 7 months talking to a work friend. We were becoming very close, and we both liked each other. But after 7 months, I realized that my relationship with him was not conducive to my relationship with Christ, and I had to put God first, and let go of this man I had grown to care about so dearly. One month after we stopped talking, he texted me. He’s trying to get back into the Bible and closer to God. So I guess me walking away from him was the wake up call he needed. Ten years ago I was broken and had highs and lows. With a broken heart, I prayed for someone to love me the way that I love. For three weeks straight every night I prayed for the same thing and cried as I prayed. Four weeks later I ended up as a designated driver for a friend that wanted to go out and drink one night. We ended up at his friend's house who was hosting a party at his house. I ended up talking to the host until 6 am watching the sunrise while sitting on his deck. My favorite aunt in the world, my late mom's big sister, has been fighting AML leukemia for the past three months. She is currently in the hospital undergoing round 2 of consolidation chemotherapy. The doctors say that she is responding very well to treatment, to the point where we may not even need a bone marrow transplant!!! As of now, as long as her labs are favorable, she has two more treatments left to go for this phase! I'm so playing this once all of her treatments are done. 🧡

It's hard to believe, because after 2 yrs it's been a rollercoaster ride, never have I been through anything like this. So it is miracle that this is happening. Because it didn't look good from the outward appearance. We are lucky we survived it, this is definitely not common practice. Very unusual. Anyway , babe I am glad we get this time, and that you are serious this time, I am not the game playing type, you never want to play Russian roulette, because its not wise, and you don't ever know when you have overplayed your hand. I love you and we should never take for granted something given to us that's so precious. Many people can't reclaim that gift because it's gone to someone else or they don't want it anymore. Cherish what you have, not everyone gets this gift or even a second chance.
