Love living room second home. Would buy the third one with the lake and home especially if I had that kind of money... they can add a guest house ... Easy.

Build a bunky! Or a guest house w bath and kitchen. The primary bedrooms can become bunk Rioms.

The oldest daughter carrying the youngest child on her back - sign of parentification! Albeit innocent parentification is a BEAST!

am i the only one getting "heli-copter" parents vibes from these two sisters..?? You can't buble wrap the entire world for your kids.
@bryan__m10 ай бұрын
I wanted to disagree with you because of the "bubble wrap" comment, but... as an admitted overprotective parent of a 4-year-old myself, her concerns seem a bit overblown. All of her kids look older than mine, and she would have no problem with a spiral staircase. We sleep on the other side of the house because baby monitors exist. Needing to be close so you can grab them in case of a fire seems excessive. Especially when she wants to live on a lake! Drownings are one of the highest causes of death for children.

Loved the second house, but the land at the third location….. Really hated the house though.

It's so weird how she's super protective about the stairs and the kids room but when it comes to the kids being near water she's like 'yes, they can swim where ever they want!' 'they get their canoes!'. Lady, kids an drown! You're freaking out about a spiral stair case but the biggest danger is the direct access to the lake frontage!

Kids are going to hurt themselves no matter where you live. You must be a smart parent and prepare for obvious dangers and have rules with consequences. When they break those rules, they will, take them to the hospital for stitches or a cast and follow through with the consequences.

@@DeliaDevlin-eu6ojthe kids have to learn and experience the hurt and pain. Can’t be overly protective like that

Your right. Children, especially boys, will find danger and get hurt no matter what you do, how you do it or where you live. It's just a fact of life.

@@Rantsack you are so right. I didn't want my boys at 18 to leave home much less 2,000 miles away. But, they indeed left to begin their own lives. I can't express how proud I am of them. My oldest is now 35, married for 9 years, a beautiful daughter 7 yrs old and 3 year old twins, 1 boy 1 girl, my youngest is now 32 and taking care of me after my brain surgery 2 years ago. They never called me for money, they called to see if I needed anything. I am such a lucky mom to have such amazing children.
