In regards to God's voice being like thunder. Something astonishing happened to me one night while I was laying in bed. This only ever happened one time and it was shortly after I got saved. I was laying there in bed and all of a sudden I felt as though there was this heavenly presence approaching me. I'm laying there perfectly still with my eyes closed. All of a sudden I noticed that a portion of the darkness in my mind seemed to be getting darker, almost like a pillar of smoke appearing in my mind. Then it seemed like a kind of neon emerald green outlined face seemed to be trying to form on it and it seemed like a couple of, I don't know, vents or something opened behind it. Then all of a sudden I heard the most masculine voice I could imagine thunder into my ears. It sounded like a combination of thunder and organ pipes. I was kind of in a trance when it happened, so part of me was astonished and wanted to say something back, but the other part of me was thinking "If He speaks again I will surely parish!". So I snapped out of the trance and was fully awake again and was trying to process what He said to me. Then I realized He said "Hi Ryan!" It was a miracle! God bless!

That was a good comment....however, let us not forget the annointed cherub that covereth.......maybe thte very first 'annointed'....and he's the one that started all of this sin.
