Oh I LOVE what's in my bag videos! We need to revive this trend - especially for the bookish bags. Your bag is beautiful.

After watching this video, I found myself doing a google search to find out what being a book reviewer takes in terms of education and how to do it. I’d love to see a video about what led you to your job and what it takes to do that full time.

Thanks for a very helpful video. I love the bag. What is the make/ model of your bag? Love the idea of carrying a portable straw, and meds kit. I also like that you dont overstuff your bag. Happy book reviewing. 😂😂

After shock blue tooth ear phones are amazing!! Amazon sells them. I have air pods too. But the shocks are soooooo portable and they sit in front of your ear against the bone. You can hear what’s going on or turn it up !! I paid $159 comes with charge cord and case. I wear mine around my neck and raise them up when I want them. Super light and comfortable. Love them.

I absolutely love your take on this, and it was fascinating to see what you carry. I legitimately cackled at the statement about needing GPS in Pittsburgh regardless of how long you have lived here. So true! And even then, GPS has failed me from time to time.

I love this, and I love that bag.. I'm the same way about keeping stuff until it falls apart, also a child of single parent. My mom's favorite phrase was "If you take care of things, you'll have them a long time." So I just keep things.

Also, that bag is gorgeous! Working PT as I've been for years, I understand the financial aspect. I'm glad you were in a position to get it. It's something practical that you daily use and it looks like it will serve you well for years to come.

That's exactly what I thought! I'm not normally one for "splurging" (though the price of this bag was actually reasonable since it was on sale), but for something I'll be carrying for years to come, it was worth it, I think.

If you think the pop sockets are great, wait until you try a Loopy Case. I thought it was a little goofy and WAY too expensive but I can never go back now. I always have 100 things in my hands and being able to loop my phone on one finger is very helpful! I'm a write-it-down kind of gal also. People love to make fun of my paper planner but it is my actual brain, and I love it! Also, wow. I have amblyopia and I'm wondering if the reading glasses can help me, thank you!

Earlier this summer, I bought a new backpack that I'm using as a purse and I love it so much. I should get a first-aid kit in mine, I have thin skin and any little bump makes me bleed!

Sounds like that little kit would be a godsend for you! I'm burn-prone myself (since I do so much cooking), but that mainly happens at home so I don't have to carry around burn cream lol

I have the same thing with my eyes. I use progressive lenses and it has really made a difference. Like you I have a low reading prescription that hasn’t changed since I started using the progressive lenses over 15 years or so ago. It is nice to hear someone else has the same issues

It's just called a "handle bag" on the site - it's not designed to go over a shoulder which is a little disappointing, but I adore everything else about it!

I wonder if I developed an allergy to the Optifree solution. I went from wearing daily contacts to wearing reusable contacts again because my insurance changed and doesn't cover much. I could only wear the contacts one or two times and then they would hurt my eyes. It was SO painful. I changed solution and no more pain.
@Yesica19932 жыл бұрын
Ha ha, I have spent WAY too much time watching, "What's in my bag/backpack", videos. I've never understood why it's a thing. But I'm glad I'm not alone in enjoying them. It was good to see one from a Booktuber. Sort of a crossover! I'm glad the Fire works for you. It didn't work for me. It felt like stabbing pains in my eyes. I really didn't even use it that much. Hm, I wonder if mine had a dark mode and I didn't even know! Maybe that would have made a difference. Anyway, I ended up giving it to someone and eventually got the Paperwhite. That one gives me no pain and I am so thankful. Wow, I have never heard of wearing glasses while wearing contacts! I'm horribly nearsighted so I've worn glasses since maybe 6th-7th grade. Contacts changed my life even more. Unfortunately, since I lost my FT job 10+ (!!!) years ago, I've not been able to afford contacts. I've also struggled with severely dry eyes as well, so who knows if contacts would even be an option for me anymore. Thanks for the heads up. That was totally new information for me.
@abookolive2 жыл бұрын
So sorry the Fire didn't end up working for you! It seems like there's some trial and error involved in finding the right ereader for you...

I may need to grab a little Ibuprofen container. OOH I've never heard of the those patches before, I also am always red after alcohol or exercise.
@abookolive2 жыл бұрын
I don't think the redee patches help with redness after exercise, but redness with alcohol, they're likely to help! Just a heads up, they smell strongly of vitamins. It's not a *bad* smell, just a very distinguishable, chalky smell.
