Nothing wrong with reading one book in a month! If you don't feel like reading or haven't had the time, there's no need to sweat over it - everyone understands. Books should be read for enjoyment, not as a chore!
@QueenAssbuttXO8 жыл бұрын
Omg this pisses me off in Booktube - who cares if you didn't read 100000 books in a month!? You read one book & that's what counts! You don't need to give excuses for not reading - this isn't high school & you didn't do your homework so you have to explain why

YES. This is exactly why I didn't do the booktubeathon this year 😒
@iinfinitydolans85998 жыл бұрын
Well your point is sort of valid, however, Booktube is for people who love to read and it's good to set goals for yourself. Sasha clearly knows how much she can read and loves to read so she's set herself a high goal. Booktube is also a place were people can discuss the books they read. So Sasha and other people who do videos like this are just informing their audience why they have not been posting videos, and that she's ashamed that she has not been reading. You might not care, but I bet some of her subscribers do because they want more reviews, etc.
@dylanisreviewing8 жыл бұрын
its ridiculous how some people feel ashamed because they didn't read tons of books a month. is it good to set goals for yourself? YES. Should you feel ashamed because you didn't complete that goal? NO. ITS READING PEOPLE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL. rant over

If I can help you out Daniella, this is what I do when I hit a slump. You can try reading a short story or something, as like a way to slowly climb your way back to reading novels. Or keep watching Sasha and the other BookTubers and let their reactions on their books remind you how very exciting and thrilling it is to read something really good. There can never be anything better than to read wonderful books. Happy Reading!

I just started reading it again yesterday, so hopefully I'll finish it soon.

+BecomingTia I am currently reading ACOMAF and I REALLY enjoyed the first book in the series and had heard brilliant things about the next book so I had to get it. Currently, I'm at about 326 pages and idk.... maybe like the last book the ending chapters will get to me to fall in love with it?? Please tell me the remaining parts become more interesting because at the moment nothing much is happening yet. :/
@gemrene89288 жыл бұрын
ACOMAF is similar to Heir of Fire in the sense that it is long and some parts are slower (as in less action and more character development). It’s my favorite book of all time, and I think it’s a lot better than ACOTAR, which I also liked.
@BecomingTia8 жыл бұрын
Isabelle O. Let it carry you away. Don't think about gush reviews or anything. Just get soaked up in the characters and the impending romance. The beginning of the book with Tamlin is slow. Once she is with Rhysand it's more about setting up and introducing new characters. Then...she basically gives fans what they want even when they didn't know they wanted it. It's not fan fiction writing, but it's like getting everything you need...like, it's such a satisfying book especially around the 400-500 page mark.
