Hanoi and Da Nang international airports are good. Never had trouble with them. Unfortunately, Saigon International airport has crooks working in the area where you go through security checkpoints. Some of the girls who were working there gave me trouble with my lithium battery bank. When I told them these cannot be checked-in for luggage, they have to be in my carry-on, they made all type of excuses trying to confiscated, only to keep for themselves. After challenging them that Hanoi and Da Nang did not have any trouble, they begin to backed off. Told them to check online that lithium battery bank cannot be in check-in luggage, only carry-ons. Of course, they already KNEW this but they were banking on the lack of knowledge and the concern of missed flights. They went through all of my stuffs, trying to seek for valuables. I started to take pictures, only then they started to back-off. If you go through this airport and you feel that you are a victim of a bribe, pull your phone out and start to record/take pictures of their faces and name badges. Be careful of these fake security crooks in Saigon International airports. They have a reputation at this airport for bribes and stealing stuffs through security checkpoints. I heard of stories about this but never believed it until it happened to me a few days ago. These crooks do not care about Vietnam or the business for tourisms. Vietnam legal systems really need to look into this airport and clean up this airport. What a bunch of crooks.
