They don't. Everything they're doing after 21 (LabCoat) is at a loss. If they really liked money the game should end there. No rollback, etc. Unless they're making it ready for a sequel.

Loving that game, and everything they did after that was fan service! we have to hope for more good reputation to get fighterz 2, whatever that means. but in terms of supportingg the community, this was great. the only thing they could have maybe considerated to make something to enable the community to mod and host custom servers and help them to bring up more things with the comms joint effort (which will be there)

It's really sad how every old game, which was announced to have a rollback update in EVO 2022, ended up missing the mark. I cannot imagine how much worse the Switch versions would ended up looking, had the developers decided to go through with the rollback update. Sadge

I’ve been under the impression rollback cannot be patched _into_ games due to some limitation in either the hardware or software not being able to handle it…however rollback has been proven to work on the system _if it is already pre-baked in_ skullgirls second encore, KOF13 global match, the forth coming diesel legacy all have rollback built in as examples and all have switch versions, albeit lacking in the performance department

There are also some character specific bugs. Captain Ginyu has a bug that prevents calling tow Ginyu Force members at once if the Purple Comet assist gets interrupted. There's a KZbinr named Mister Acolyte who made a whole video about this glitch, and according to him it has been in DBFZ for a while now.

They want this game dead. Can't help but think that this game was an experiment they didn't bank on doing so well. They set out to have a 2-3 year run supporting the game, but the game became more than they wanted it to be. Now they're openly showing they'd prefer if it died...

Woah I like drama but this is a bit much- It's probably Bandai focusing on Sparking Zero so they have their A-Team on that. It sucks. And I hate to see one of my favorite fighting games go out like this. But to make them out like assassins is too much, hope you're doing alright

@@heliumpai7627 Nah bro it's 1000% not the same staff. Bandai publishes the games but they hire game dev companies to create/maintain it. Arcsys built DBFZ. Bandai just needed to pay them to maintain it, clearly they've been reluctant to do that.

On the Xbox version, everyone in the lobby randomly crashes pretty frequently unless they are in a match. Ring matches crash pretty often aswell (does vary day to day) And I’m pretty sure people are getting kicked from ranked aswell, fairly certain it isn’t rage quits as both players can be moving and this will happen. And no it’s not a connection issue.

Hadnt played a ranked match in this game since lab coat came out. Hopped back on. Couldn't find a game for damn near 10 minutes, and then it crashes. Amazing work, bandai

There’s also problems on the Xbox version where it would kick you out while either waiting for a match or being IN a match. Also, spectactors can’t watch more than one match in ring matches, if the players try to rematch with spectators watching, the match would just not work and would send you back to the ring screen.

Yeah, the arena glitch on console is a tad annoying. It's fun every once in awhile to just find someone playing triple Ginyu for the chaos of it, and then you got people legitimately playing triple of their best top tier character. Luckily, because it's so annoying to setup after every single game, not that many people actually do it. That and most characters really don't benefit from having 3 on the same team.

Cinematic glitches are actually not fixed totally, everytime there's a destructive finish from a blow (not a super) the character stops in the air for too much time while the background is moving 4:41 its actually this but he didn't mention it. Another thing, you CAN actually see the level 3 t-poses in match, most common cases are Videl's lvl 3 and Super Broly, they just don't stay but ofc it's a bug and should be fixed.

I use Xbox Series S, along with my friend, and we love fighting against each other. When the rollback update hit Xbox, it brought a bug that crashed the game every time i tried to do an online match. 2 months later, it still hasnt been fixed. Im just gonna wait for Sparking Zero if they dont fix it. Im done with FighterZ

Flashing Portraits are still a thing for me ( Steam/PC ) and I also seen a guy swap his teams when we were loading in a fight ( Steam/PC ) that was like a week or so ago. Maybe less.

Xbox player here, before this "patch" came out, I could find matches pretty easily, but I could barely get through a full match without my game crashing (I'm on new gen). Post patch, I can't even find a match on casuals or ranked. I love this game to death and I hate seeing the state it's in right now.

There's two glitches that I want to talk about. So the first glitch when you got Gohan's dramatic finish for some reason when he falls on the ground, it looks kind of weird. The game often goes on sale online, so I'd suggest waiting for one of those before sinking your money into it. My advice is to get a sweet deal where most/all DLC characters are unlocked along with your purchase, if you can.
