Engel & Völkers Vail opened in December 2015 as a re-branding of the former Sonnenalp Real Estate. Engel & Völkers Vail is owned and operated by Josh Lautenberg & Tyra Rudrud, former owners of Sonnenalp Real Estate, who brought all agents into the new brand. So although the name, Engel & Völkers, is new to the area, the firm’s leadership and advisors have been selling real estate as a team throughout the Vail Valley for nearly 20 years.
