Maybe because it isn't hygienic to put the doefoot applicator on your face and after in the container, as we talk about liquid textures, the bacterias are so happy to devellop inside it. When you have a concealer, you can put the doefoot applicator on a clean surface in order to have enough product for the under eye as you need just a bit of product, so there is less risk to have bacterias in the container. You can do the same thing for a fondation with a doefoot applicator, but it will be 10 000 times more complicated and takes time as you need to cover a large skin surface (the face). I belive that it is the reason why usually we have a doefoot applicator on the products with less quantity to use one time (for the lambda persons lazy to think about bacterias and personal use anyway ^^) and a pomp for the fondations. It is more hygienic especially for a MUA who is switching between clients with maybe same bottle of fondation. Nobody wants to have a product on the skin containing all the bacterias of the previous clients....🤷‍♀

@@Celine-ig3xh if it’s not hygienic for foundation the same goes for concealer… I’m sorry but what you’re saying just doesn’t really make sense. You put the applicator directly on your face then back in the container with concealer… and some people use concealer all over their face like foundation . The argument doesn’t make sense imo. And most makeup artists depot their products into palettes anyway for easier storage and access and most products have preservatives to avoid bacteria growth so it’s less risk anyway

@@Celine-ig3xh You must have a nasty ass face🤢 if you got all that running around on there. Maybe you need lessons on 'how to clean your face'. As long as you have a 'Freshly Washed,Clean, Dry face'😁 There is NOTHING wrong with using a doe foot applicator, unless you have open sores on your face, you're not spreading any bad bacteria & there are special preservatives in the product that will prevent bacteria growth. And if you watch makeup KZbin you see people use doe foot applicators for concealer AND they would take that same concealer applicator on the cheeks, forehead, around the nose...etc and NEVER have a problem with "bacteria". And if you are breaking out after applying your foundation, maybe look at that sponge you haven't replaced in a year.

Concealer is smaller quantities and can be finished off faster to mitigate the possible contamination issues from holding a dip style item for a long time. I've been trying to move onto stick or pump versions myself as I don't wear enough concealer to use it up fast, NYX bare with me concealer looks good.

I LOVE my foundation! Ive been searching for almost a year for my go-to foundation and this turned out to be my Holy Grail. I've been been wearing it nonstop! I'm combo, leaning oily in thw summer and like to have a skin like finish, but every foundation with that claim seemed to either feel heavy on my skin or wasn't oil controlling enough. I'm so happy with ny About Face foundation!!

You reviewed this very thoroughly. I wanted to try this based on the claims of natural skin with skincare. I also have very oily skin and definitely put this to the test. I put this on with concealer and powder, no primer at 8am, ran a 5k, then went out after the race, and it held up! It doesn't have all these outrageous claims, and you're right. It doesn't blur, unfortunately, but it also doesn't exaggerate texture either. It looks very realistic on the skin

I’ve been loving this foundation! 😍 I got a shade that’s a little too dark for me! But I still love it! 😍 it’s soooo natural and skin like looking! It’s not heavy, & wears beautifully, even after my oils start to shine, it just looks glowing and radiant, I don’t look gross lol or like I’m melting 🤣 I enjoy this foundation a lot for everyday wear!

I liked the foundation it reminds me a lot of a lighter studio fix fluid. It lasts well. I think it would be great for everyday and the price point can’t be beat. I don’t think it’s an innovative formula but it is good.
