About FIRST LEGO League

FIRST® LEGO® League introduces STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to children ages 4-16* through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experience through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together. FIRST LEGO League’s three age-appropriate divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics centered around a yearly theme.
Using STEM concepts, students overcome the same challenges that face scientists today. They develop critical-thinking and presentation skills, build habits of learning and self-confidence in STEM, and have a ton of fun while working as part of a team.
